Breaking Bad is back and awesome as ever   :buttrock.

Honestly can't think of more than one maybe two other tv show's ( Band of Brothers & The Shield) that have grabbed me as much as this one.

Also been watching a Canadian show "Continuum". At first I thought it was a bit "Ho Hum" but as it's progressed it been pretty entertaining.

synopsis from wiki
When a group of rebels convicted as terrorists escapes execution by fleeing from the year 2077 to 2012, Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols), a future Vancouver law enforcement officer (called Protector), is involuntarily transported with them. In order to track them down and keep them from changing the past (and presumably future), Kiera joins the Vancouver Police Department and uses the skills of a young tech expert, Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen). The future of 2077 is a dystopian one in which world governments have collapsed and corporations now dominate the planet, instituting a high-surveillance police state and removing many basic social freedoms. The moral dilemma this presents is that the group of eight from 2077 (who call themselves "Liber8"), while self-admittedly having killed tens of thousands of people as collateral, consider themselves to be freedom fighters against the Orwellian corporate regime that dominates their time.

Worth a watch if like me you're already f'ucked off with the build up to the Olyimpics

With premise of the show I'm amazed they managed to get 7 seasons out of Dexter. Quite enjoyed series 6 and looking forward to seeing how finale cliffhanger plays out in season 7

I like the show... one of my favorites... the Dexter character must be one of the best anti-heroes ever created. They managed to keep on developing Dexter and other characters without resorting to cheap tricks like good guys becoming bad guys and bad guys becoming good guys like Heroes, True Blood etc.  Hated the season with Julia Stiles though... which was season 5. Season 6 picked up again and now season 7 is very promising. Wiki says that Season 8 will be the last and Season 7 and 8 will have a  common main story arc spanning between them.

Boardwalk Empire

After all the hype was ultimately disappointed with the first season BUT season two they've really upped the game, it's now a must watch on my list.

Dexter still outstanding

Homeland, I was beginning to lose interest but it's got me hooked again

Walking Dead , Hmmm still watch it but it's becoming a bit ho hum for me

Boardwalk Empire episode 4 ,the fight scene with Capone and the outcome of the showdown with the precocious "Roland Smith " blew me away .
The acting is top notch ,non more so than Michael Stuhlbargs portrayal of Arnold Rothstein ,and of course Buscemi's sometimes chilling Nucky .

Really top show .

Gave up on Boardwalk Empire halfway through series 1, one of those shows I really wanted to like but its just didnt grab my attention.
Will be checking out the latest Mobster offering  about to hit OZ shows next week called Magic city in Miami 50s

Havent watched the latest series of Dexter yet, much more enjoy watching him in a marathon over a weekend then on a weekly basis.

First few episodes of Big Bang have been pretty good, no where near the peak of early stuff but for me a lot better then last season.

One show I do enjoy that probably doesnt get  any highbrow drama kudos and doesnt seem to take itself too seriously which is big plus for me  is Justified

Good likeable cast led by excellent Timothy Olyphant, some interesting characters  including small part recurring parts and unususal setting for a USA cop show makes for good viewing

Aye. Couldn't buy into 'Boardwalk Empire' either and really wanted to. The character of Chalky White is especially silly, given the times. I just couldn't get with it, as much as I tried. Michael Williams was great as Omar in 'The Wire', but in this, he's just ridiculous. The guy who plays Al Capone doesn't do it for me either, have to say.

Might give series 2 a spin at some stage, but at the mo, I couldn't be bothered.

I saw the first series of that a while back Woof, didn't know when/if they were going to make a second.

That's the haunted house where the old eye-bally maid, turns into a hot sexy seductive French maid isn't it. Core blimey, wish I had a made like that...
