Fantastic player Suarez who we need to keep but whether we will or not
is another matter.

You just never know these days what will happen. Massive bid and Fenway
will most likely cash in.

Everyone has a price and all clubs are selling clubs these days, thats modern football
with investors and shareholders, books to balance.

His English isnt the best so he cant really express they way he wants to. Saying goodbye could mean just for the break.

Also if he is saying bye to mean he is leaving. How the bloody hell does he know if he is going. Less than a month ago he said he wants to spend another 5 years here.

The little uruguayan is staying put. If we dont qualify for the Champions league 2013-2014 season then he may go. But im confident what needs to be done will be done over the summer to make the team alot stronger and give a stronger title/top 4 challenge

I don't think Suarez is going anywhere to be honest.

Now that someone has brought it up though, I'd probably let him go if we got a ridiculous bid.  Despite his undoubted quality at times he can blow hot and cold, and his finishing for the amount of chances he has is pretty average.  Then there's his attitude issues, his history suggests he'll probably do something else crazy in the future.

Threatening strike at Groningen to push through his Ajax move, biting an opponent playing for Ajax, the Evra incident, the handshake incident, not to mention the countless petulant fouls during games.  He does need to grow up a bit if I'm honest, one more embarrassing incident and we could see his resale value drop.

But on the flipside he megged Terry twice last night which I absolutely loved!!!  And also the ban really knocked him out of his stride this season, he was playing well til then and took him a while to hit form again after it.  Plus for the last few games when he and Carroll have played together I've liked the look of them as a partnership... if they click and get off to a good start next season we'll finish much higher up the league.

no one knows what Suarez wants to do, least of all Suarez....but we'll see his resolve in the summer. It's rumoured that PSG, Juventus and Real Madrid are interested...if they all bid, and Luis doesn't request a transfer to force a deal, then we'll know he's a true red.

Until then, fingers crossed he stays and is used better next seaosn with a striking partner, and not as a lone striker, which he's not

i`m with DC for once, if we sell the likes of suarez instead of trying to build a team around him we may as well pack up and call it a day.
and lets not forget that during our 70`s & 80`s glory years we had players playing for us that made suarez look like a saint, opposition players had their legs broken, jaws broken and even their careers ended by one tackle playing against players we these days regard as legends.
i`d rather have 11 players with his attitude than a team full of players with downing`s or meireles`s attitude.

woof woof ! » Wed May 09, 2012 2:49 pm wrote:Last night Souness described Suarez as a player with an "exploding head" . I kind of understand where he's coming from, as I've often been disquieted by some of the stuff Suarez puts into his game, to be blunt .............he's often  "dirty" and sly with his challenges, more embarrassingly when pulled up he then tries to make out that the obvious foul was in fact accidental. .

e.g Against Chelsea last night he deliberately got his arm around Ivanovic's neck who then went down as though he'd been stabbed, not looking to defend Ivanovic but the fella was certainly fouled, my gripe is more about how Suarez spent the next couple of minutes trying to make out how concerned he was about any hurt he may have inflicted on the Chelsea player, giving him the old "pat on the back and the sorry mate are you OK " routine, Suarez's apologetic antics went on for so long that even a Liverpool team mate felt obliged to try and pull Suarez away, (another cause for worry as it then looked like Suarez was telling his team mate to fk off). Meanwhile I'm watching and thinking " just take the card and stop the f'ucking play acting"

Clearly our most talented player BUT imo a bit of a head case, and not in a good way.I think he's already negatively marked on the ref's radar before a game has even kicked off. Can see that going against us as more and more decisions due to his "reputation" are awarded to the opposition.

IMO, Kenny deffo needs to have a word .

Anybody else share my concerns ?

I actually think he's over-compensating in instances like that because of the $hit he's had with Evra, that's my opinion. He's the media's and neutral's dirty little racist and when he does have a rush of blood, he looks to play the 'sportsman' because if he didn't (in his mind) he'd be crucified even more.

Has anyone read the Drenthe accusations against Messi?

I find it funny how this story isn't covered as much as the Suarez one. Could it be favouritism? Could it be Drenthe is full of sh!t but the holier than thou Evra is a good honest man who has never done anything wrong ever?

Or could it be, that it really is a language and cultural issue? Now with Suarez this could be the case, with Terry, well, you can see it clear as day, on you tube and every video clip available, but with Messi, the darling of current day football? not a chance.

I find it interesting as to if anything will be done about this latest accusation.

I think if Messi played in the Premier League you wouldnt be able to get away from it. Also because these accusations are being made well after the fact as well, and they arnt just aimed at Messi (he accuses Higuain and Heinze who were his team mates at Madrid also) it kind of dilutes it, he even admits in his interview that its a common term in South America, but states that "we hate it" because in case you hadnt heard Royston Drenthe is the global voice of black people when it comes to cross-cultural translation sensitivity

Unfortunately for Drenthe he hasnt got the hypocritical, bullsh'itting cu'nts from the FA to believe him and throw the book at Messi to prove they are in charge. Evra was lucky to have purple nose to whip up the hysteria and the gobsh'ite "moral" media to sawllow it all and turn it into a sh'itstorm which of course the FA then made worse by the manner with which the situation was dealt with.
Of course LFC didnt help with their handling of it but they were attacked from all sides and  understandably adopted a siege mentality.
Is it a coincidence that both of these accusers are small, angry, volatile, troublesome men who happen to be black?
