Christ this lad does my head in with his free kicks.  How many times do we win a FK in a promising position only for him to not get it past the first man?  Once or twice is a fluke but he's consistently failing to deliver a telling ball into the box in these situations, which is all the more unacceptable given his reputation as a bit of a dead ball specialist.  I'm also tired of watching him blast over/wide when a teammate is better positioned for the pass or when he's been well set up by a pullback on the edge of the box.  Time to sit Charlie down.

Is Jonjo Still around? Why the hell did we pull him back from Blackpool just to sit him down espcially when Adam and Hendo are sooooo poor? Really criminal against the young lad.

If Adam is not dropped to the bench for the rest of the season, then I seriously will start to lose faith in Kenny! Surely he must see how badly Charlie is playing? Why do managers persist in playing non-performers...is it down to their own egos...obviously Adam is a Kenny signing? Rafa also did it with some of his poor buys...just kept playing them?

I don't think Adam is a poor player, he is just not of the required quality to perform at a big club like Liverpool where expectation is so high. He had one storming season at Blackpool, where he was the main man. But here he is just getting worse by the week. His set pieces are woeful and he really should be warming the bench. We won't get forth in a million years so Kenny should bring in some of the younger players for the rest of the season. Shelvey, Sterling and others must be given a chance.

@Charlie26Adam I took my 3yo swimming but put her in adult pool by mistake. Can I get a RT from someone equally out of his depth today?

He is one of the main reasons we are doing badly - Charlie Adam is the main person in the middle and he isn't good enough

Having faith in a player is one thing but continually playing someone who is Fu*king up is another. KK is probably hoping that Adam will play his way out of the dire performances he has put in recently and doesnt want to shatter his confidence by dropping him.
There has to come a time when KK will realise that Downing, Henderson and Adam need to be benched to make them understand that they are underperforming. He is giving them his support, which is fine, but they are stinking the place out and obviously need a rest.

Adam and Henderson will play just as much as they have no matter what. Kenny's buys and he is stubborn unfortunately.

Kenny may be stubborn, but he didn't win all those trophies with Liverpool by being stupid. Some of his signings clearly are not up to it and if he is too stubborn to admit this then he is harming the prospects of Liverpool Football Club and he is indeed being stupid. The future of the club is more important than one man's ego!!

If anyone else was in charge the fans would be calling for their head!! 39 points at this stage of the season is abysmal!!

Carroll, Adam, Downing and Henderson must all know in their hearts that their performances this season have not been good enough? Maybe they don't? Footballers are not exactly known for their intellect! If they don't then Kenny needs to make them fully aware of the fact by dropping them till the end of the season!

Enough is enough. If we carry on like this we will end the season on 50 points or less!!

It is obvious the lad is getting worse. Reason could be many. At Blackpool he was a big fish in a small pond, but at Lvp he's a small fish in a big pond. Maybe his style of play is not suited for Kenny's strategies and he is left frustrated. But if this kind of form continues, he must be relieved.

Really frustrating watching any game where he plays.

He had a decent half season in the Premiership and we bought him on the back of that! MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!

I was present at the Villa match in December and Jonjo Shelvey looked very promising, his passing, his positioning and his ability to find space impressed me. He could have a very bright future here, but not if he is going to continually find himself starting behind the likes of Adam and Spearing.

same as last season... great first half of the season... poor second half.
