There could be an argument that the Carling Cup victory has papered over some cracks.

Kenny Kan wrote:“The players here have done fantastically well and if anyone is going to come in they will have to be a hell of a player to do better than what they have done.

“These boys are in pole position, they are sitting there comfortable, none of them can be disappointed with what they have contributed this season.

“So we are not going to be sharp to get rid of anyone so if anyone else is coming in to add what they’ve done they need to be better than what we have here.”

reading ***** like this makes me want to scream.  Is Kenny losing the plot or something?

No, he is being positive about the team he manages and supports and being positive about the players and using words to boost confidence.

Try it yourself - you might like it.

I hope you're right because I'm pretty sure there are better players knocking around then the ones that Kenny has brought in.

i'm all for optimism, but you'd think we were top of the league reading those comments. He sounds like he's deluded.

None of them can be disapointed??  FFS Kenny, don't serve us dog sh"t sandwiches and tell us it's caviar....our league campaign has been a joke

Ok next time he will come out and say how ***** all the players have been - just like you do, how do you think that will go down with the players ?

Are you really that dense that you fail to understand trying to being positive and to talk up the players.

Do you just look for any excuse to stick the boot into Kenny.

Benny...who on earth is suppose to believe that statement?  You'd have to be a retard to think that Andy Carroll (with his 3 league goals) can't do any better....or claim Stuart Downing can be proud of his awful season.

Why even bring it up?  Why not simply say we've improving each week??  By simply saying they're all AWSOME is yet another reason for other clubs (and the media) to laugh at us.

Why do you care what other fans or the media think of our club?

Wow - that is very strange expectations when you very very rarely see a manager come out a slate the players - especially in a season where you have won one trophy , in a semi final of another. FFS guys it was always going to be a season of transition with new players coming in needing time to settle and most importantly the fans requiring the need to be paitent .

Who gives a f*ck what "media" and "other clubs" have to say about what kenny says - the main people that do seem to have a problem is fans like you.

Positive thinking - give it a try instead of just calling the players *****.

You're right Benny, Kenny's spot on. Carroll has had a blinding season and no one can ask anymore of a 35 million pound striker

Where did i say Kenny was right ?

You really do miss the point - its is no surprise that you just cant be positive about anthing in regards Kenny or in fact the club.

you're the one who missed the point, as usual, Benny.

I'll just leave it with: I think Kenny has made himself look foolish by saying what he has.
