Terry - a perfect illustration of an ashole. Fcks with his teammate wife, calls somebody a black kunt, never apologizes, won't even hand shake, no sanction and still praised by the media and considered "a man with character".
Suarez - Minds his own business, gets insulted by a :censored: in a match, allegedly calls the :censored: a "blackie", apologizes even though he was probably falsely accused, will probably shake hands (IMO) (if Evra is willing), gets banned for 8 games, pays a fine and considered a racist by people even though he has black ancestors.

devaney wrote:Kewell you regard yourself as a Liverpool supporter and you write such utter sh.ite as this. You seem to be the only Liverpool supporter in existence that is prepared to accept Evra's highly questionable version of the events. You also seem to ignore the fact that Evra actually started this somewhat pathetic schoolyard spat in the first place with some disgusting abuse aimed at Suarez.

Evra was one of fourteen children and brought up in the toughest area of Paris. CAN YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT HE HADN'T BEEN SUBJECTED TO BE CALLED A FEW NAMES IN THE PAST!! He is a whinging individual who has done nothing to help eradicate racism. It is the pathetic behaviour of individuals like Evra that actually exacerbates the problem. And if it is correct that Ferguson ensured that Evra went to the referees office after the match to get everything documented then he is no better. Getting the two lads together after the game to apologise to each other and shake hands is what should have happened in a sensible world.

so let me get this right, just because Evra has been racially abused in the past, it's ok to do it again?  What utter b0ll0cks. And your suggestion that a handshake solves racism shows what little you know about the subject.
Have you READ the report?  Suarez admitted to calling him "blackie"..and saying "i don't talk to black people"  Suarez also changed his story THREE TIMES, which made his account unreliable.

Suarez ADMITTED making racist remarks and what sadens me if some fans (like yourself) are trying to trivialise racism to get one over another football team. It’s pathetic lad. Insulting someone over the colour of their skin isn't acceptable, no matter how much of a c**t the person in question. And your joke excuses leave me to believe you’re an idiot.

Bizarre. So Saurez dosen't speak to Glen Johnson for example? Anyway, said my bit on it. Defend Evra if you like. I, and many others believe he's scum and has made a mockery of the Kick It Out campaign.

Fkghell mate that's a big chip your carrying! Read your own posts before accusing anybody of being an idiot.I don't condone racism in any form whatsoever but a consistency of action by the FA is vitally important.Suarez was made an example of and the FA together with the likes of you were prepared to fully accept Evra's version of events.Suarez has admitted to being abusive and so has Evra. Racism had fk all to do with this. Calling somebody a black c.unt does not necessarily make you a racist.

What have the FA done about Terry?

What have the FA done about Henry's threatening behaviour/actions towards one of his own supporters after the Swansea game when Arsenal were beaten?

Grow a fkg pair mate and support your team and the players. You accuse Suarez of being a fool and seem to fully defend Evra's and the FA's actions.Do you honestly think that Kenny and the team would have worn the Suarez t-shirts if they shared your one sided view of the situation. Trivialising racism has nothing to do with my views. And if you believe that the action taken by Evra,Manchester United, the FA and our disgusting media has done anything positive to eradicate racism then I feel very sorry for you.

Was just told about a headline from a paper (not sure which) from when this incident occured. The headline was KKK King Kenny Klan.

That's revolting, and completely insulting. It's bitterly hilarious how our club has been mass labeled this way.

The epitome of predjudice behaviour and hideously ironic.

Because of the Suarez-Evra incident, that makes me a racist, and Kenny, and anyone who supports or plays for Liverpool.

The media in this country is sick.

because its possible to put a spin on certain facts and leave others out to create a story and lead the reader into believing something

If this saga has taught me anything its that the papers are still the source for many people's opinions. And that's a massive shame
