If that happens, then we bl**dy make sure we can get at least another 50 million and use it to find an even better replacement and please NO MORE panic buys.

His finishing is not good, so I won't be too overly disappointed if he goes provided we can that quality replacement.

ok lemme see, the Real Scums...
they took Macca, our best winger for years, for free.
they took Judas, our best striker for years, for 8m.
they took Alonso, one of our best ever mid, for 30m.

and ya, they will bid 50m for Suarez. in ur dreams.

i don't blame Real for any of those deals,

McManaman wanted out as did Owen and we should have sold them before hand instead of being mugged along by their "i'll sign a contract soon" nonsense.

As for Alonso, he was forced out by Rafa.

Its games like tonight when you realise how important he is to us. We have absolutely nothing as back up.. just hope Stevie and co. can finish the job off at Anfield and give Luis a day at Wembley.

Hate Madrid (not for taking our best players).. just hate everything they stand for. There is something very fake about them.

The club of an oppressive dictator, they won 5 EC on the cheap (when about 4 teams were in it) in an era where they stole Di Stefano from Barcelona. They are bankrolled by the government, selling off land for extraordinary fees.

Barcelona are the antithesis of Madrid. Everything they have won they have earned, they also have won more EC since it became a true tournament. Their past player list makes Madrid look like Everton in comparison to us.

Another ignorant comment.. Madrid "won" 5 in the 1950s when it was in its infancy and there was barely anyone in it, that they also did so because of a player they illegally stole from Barcelona further soils it. They are a fascist's club, bankrolled by the government.

Barcelona have the greatest club team ever, won more EC in a proper era, what they have won they have earned, have a better stadium, better players past and present, are more respected worldwide, they are a bigger and better club.

You didnt answer my question.

Let's try it again  .

So was the EC not a true tournament or in a proper era when we won it 4 times ?

And don't answer it with paragraphs of how wonderful Barcelona are .

Err.. your ignorance was answered. In 1977 was the EC "in its infancy"?... and was there "barely anyone in it"?

So if we take away those first 5 wins that leave them both of 4 wins each with both of them winning 3 since the turn of the century ! So in truth your talking :censored: again and Barce haven't won it more times during the "true" or "proper" era .

Barce also manage to get plenty of money from the council and have twice been bailed out by local government .

As for players been at the clubs both have illustrious lists .

In summary I would check your facts before spouting :censored: .

4 wins each?... uhmm.. 1998, 2000, 2002... vs.. 1992, 2006, 2009, 2011 (4-3 Barca)
both winning 3 since turn of century (1998 is not in this century)
Barca have not had hundreds of millions pumped into their club by extraordinary (corrupt) fees.
And finally...Barca past and present player list....top 10.. Cruyff, Maradona, Messi, Ronaldo, Neeskens, Ronaldinho, Romario, Rivaldo, Xavi, Iniesta. Dwarfs anything the fascist's club can offer.

Lol you are laughable - ok you add 1992 to the list I wi add 1966 ( or was it not real then because it doesn't suit your argument. )

As for players ?

Go and read who has played for them before embaressing yourself further , also go and check about how much debt they are in yet can still manage to spend millions on players .

L.S. is an invaluable player for Liverpool and have served 3 of the 8 banned matches now after the City game. However his finishing is not clinical enough to get us back to top 4 and we desperately need a clinical finisher in the class of Rush/Fowler/Owen/Torres to compliment him. But I saw on the BBC website after the 0-3 loss to City  that Kenny said he won't be buying a replacement. I hope he was just being cagey about it but in fact working with Commolli behind closed doors to look for that much needed striker.

Barca and Real are no doves when it comes to "corruption"... or you can say that both :censored: as much as doves.

Look into how much money Real Madrid and Barca owe the tax payers... and once in a while the debt just dissapears.

Look into when Real sold a plot of mark to the city for a couple of billion euros and then gets to buy it back for a cent.

They are both douches.
