and the 2011 Newkit 'Silver Lining Award' for most optimistic post goes to.......

:D

Its among the worst posts ive ever seen

I'd advise him to go take a look at extensive footage of Uruguay at the 2011 Copa America and see how player of the tournament Suarez operates when he has a class striker (Forlan) alongside him to provide. When he doesn't (which is the case with us) he has to do it alone.. which is the reason he wrongly appears wasteful (to the ignorant). He has no choice with us than to go it alone and try to produce something himself. Put a quality player alongside him to provide and then you see the real Suarez.

you don't need to advise me to watch it as i've already seen it. i've already stated that suarez is one of the most electric players i've ever seen in the red, and i know he has single handedly torn teams apart in the past. however, as a lone striker - the point i was making that you seem to have completely missed - he has not been producing the goods in front of goal. in fact, even when he has had options in the box he has often chosen to try and go it alone - i'm not even sure a strike partner would have been noticed. he doesn't HAVE to go it alone at all, but he so often chooses to.

i'm interested to see how the more direct style we will play with him out and carroll in will pan out. i've no idea why you have chosen to take such an exception to this. well, i do - but in the interests of forum peace i'm not going to say it.

the problem is we are basically asking him to play two positions at once. we need to decide whether we want him to lead the line and in which case tell him to play more down the middle, or we need to play him between the lines and sign a proper striker to lead the line.

£20,000 fine as well.. and the club has also been fined £20,000 for failiing to control its players!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

This is surprising
I was really expecting at least a 3 match ban and 40 grand upwards fine.
What kind of message does this send out to the rest of football? The FA are going soft

i laughed when i saw he only got 1 game.... feel almost insulted by the pr!cks for being so lenient after the scandalous, draconian, 8 match ban their kangeroo court handed out to him.

The F.A stick up for English players and discriminate against forign players, I.E Suarez, who has been made a scapegoat.

To me not treating players from all cultures and nationalities evenly against English players shows discrimination and a certain degree of racism.

Every player should be treated fairly and evenly regardless of ethnic or cultural differences, therefor John Terry should be given a huge ban, the F.A shouldn't hide behind the fact the police have got involved with this incident. (Just because he is England captain?)

The same rules should apply across the board.

I do however believe in the Suarez ,was a misunderstanding of cultural backgrounds.

With the finger gesture there's no excuses for that.
