Outside of the right boot and dropped right on Downing's foot for what would have been an absolute peach of a goal were it not for a very good save.  Still, it gave Hendo the chance to sign so it's all good. :D

Suarez is such a complete player it's scary.  A bit theatrical at times, perhaps, which might account for a few no calls but he's got everything in his locker.  Just awesome to watch.

Best striker in the Prem this lad and anyone would take him at this point. Hardest job for us long term is fending off the vultures waving money but for now enjoy. Hes fantastic, as good as it gets really, what a footballer.

Excellent player but lets not get too excited with the Messi and Ronaldo comparisons.. I would love to see Gerrard in the side alongside him. I think the pair would connect very well since they both seem to rely heavily on connecting with players who are around them in close proximity to break opposition backlines...

His link up play with Kuyt is excellent, both him and Kuyt should be starters if those kinds of performances are anything to go by.

Luis' movement is phenomenal, static Andy should take note of that!

He is amazing, best player I have seen in a red shirt since Stevie at his best.  Better than Nando.

Very unlucky for Suarez not score against Bolton. He looked really annoyed when he was subbed off.

Not suprised with the amount of decisions going against him, it was the officials he was mad at not the Sub!

I think it's fair to compare Suarez to Messi and Ronaldo. Certainly for his importance to the team. He's not the only player, there are others who are playing well and playing their part, but for his importance to the team why not compare him to the best? Without Suarez we would be a much weakened team...not because the others are bad, but because Suarez is THAT GOOD.

I don't get to see a great deal of spanish football. I'm usually confined to the stuff we have on ITV and BBC so i've never seen that much of Messi. I reluctantly remember trying my best to despise Ronaldo whilst quietly being in awe of him while he was at Manure. Due to this my opinion on Messi is largely based on hype.

Suarez though excites me like no footballer has done since..yes, another legend, Diego Maradona. He's unique. Such a joy to behold. So unrpredictable, his creativity and imagination, his work-rate, even his impudence make him stand out far above anyone else in the Premier League. He's like a breath of fresh air. When we play Manure they're gonna be squitting their duds at what he did to them last year and what he's doing for us this year. And what's crazy is Suarez has sooooo much to learn yet. He needs to control his sulks a bit, tighten up his finishing. I really believe he could finish up with 30-40 goals this season.

Question is: Would you trade Suarez for Messi? For Ronaldo? For both of them? My answer? Not a chance!

Suarez is a top player and whilst I enjoy watching him I can't help but feel if in a few years time we haven't made some progress, there will be teams coming in for him. The likes of Barca, Real and maybe even Chelsea/City im sure are already watching.

the sucess of our season will depend on this guy being 100% fit all season.  If he is...i'm confident we'll get top 4 and bag a cup along the way

A bonus of Sebastian Coates coming to our club is that him and Suarez will be able to confide in each other.  They will probably be very good friends, and this will help them feel comfortable and if either one of them is thinking about leaving, the fact that they have a good mate here will help push them our way.

I've no doubt Kenny's interest in Coates was influenced by his desire to keep Suarez here.  When you live in  a foreign country its a relief to have even one person working with you who has come from the same culture and speaks the native language.
