I never want these kids fail and best of luck to him.  Maybe he'll develop into a serviceable striker.  Good luck lad.

I have no hard feelings towards him, he was professional and did his best for the team so I wish him well. He will improve if given more matches. If the deal is true it is good business for both, he is probably worth about five million.

Agreed. Wrong place wrong time for Ngog and if he is leaving I wish him all the best at Sunderland. I think he will go on to be a decent professional and do OK for himself.

This makes the Henderson deal sound a lot better. £11M + Ngog is a lot better than the £20M that was being banded about last week  :)

Liverpool FC striker David Ngog wage demands delay Sunderland transfer

DAVID NGOG’S proposed switch to Sunderland is being held up by the striker’s wage demands.

Liverpool are happy to sell the Frenchman for a fee of around £4million but the Black Cats have so far been unable to agree personal terms with him.

The Wearside outfit insist they can’t match the wages Ngog would earn if he remained at Anfield next season.

And they are hoping the Reds will agree to drop the asking price for the 22-year-old to enable them to meet his demands.

Ngog was initially expected to complete his move to Sunderland as part of the deal which saw Liverpool snap up midfielder Jordan Henderson earlier this month.

However, with Ngog on holiday and keen to weigh up his options, the clubs agreed to conduct the transfers separately with Henderson signing for £16million.

Ngog, who cost Liverpool £1.4million from Paris St Germain three years ago, has scored 19 goals in 94 appearances.

But he is now surplus to requirements at Anfield with boss Kenny Dalglish keen to bring in Ipswich striker Connor Wickham to provide competition for first choice duo Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll.

Sunderland’s talks with Ngog are ongoing and despite the delay they remain hopeful a compromise will be reached to enable them to secure his services.

Is there any real possibility of him remaining with us for next season? I think he's always been a worker and he's had his moments but now that we have lost out on Wickham we should try for another youngster. Either that or give Pacheco or even Sterling a chance to break through.

Is this possible to be included in a player's contract?

if he's from the Ryan Babel school of thinking then 10000000000000000 pounds, probably

I know this may seem a bit of a knee jerk reaction, but it isn't, Anybody else up for giving him another N'gog?  Unless the higuain rumor pans out (highly doubt it) We are still lacking in depth up front.  He can't be on crazy wages, does keeping him around hurt the team?  I don't think so, seems like he has good character and shows some nice glimpses of being a good player here and there.

Given our lack of options, I'd say keep him at least until January.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.
