Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

he won't come back and you could hardly blame him. under this managers philosophy he'd be largely useless anyway.

you have to love the guys who negotiate deals at our club though. they couldn't organise a pi$$ up in a brewery. the £13m fee is going to be paid over 3 YEARS. yeah nice one puslow. thanks a bunch.

He has already stated that he won't be coming back to LFC at any point so not really a lot to debate. I would take him back as I rate the guy but it's just not going to happen. Since he has gone back to Italy he is getting plenty of game time, is one of the main men in his team and has been recalled to the Italy national squad.

even if he does come back, where is he going to fit in? i didnt want aquilani to leave in the first place, i always thought that was a weird idea. it was probably also he start of my diminishing belief in roy, but anyways.

where would aquilani fit in the side? for one, i'd loathe to see him break the lucas-meireles partnership that has seen us regain some sort of steel and composure in midfield. we havent even seen gerrard make his return yet, even without aquilani, the optimum midfield combination is still a bit of a headache.

i'd love to have him back, he's a good player and he'd certainly make me feel better knowing that we have his quality to add to the depth of the squad, but i do not think that current conditions are conducive for his return.

the man is having a blast playing in italy, and running the midfield for a great club, why would he want to leave and find himself in limbo competing for two spots with three other proven internationals? sadly enough i have come to the realization that alberto aquilani will never show how good he is in our liverpool red. its best for both the club and the player to just agree to a deal.

Yeh we can, he is our player. We would just have to pay Juventus compensation fee.

We wont recall him though.

Kenny could bring Aquilani back...

Alberto Aquilani could return to Liverpool when his loan spell at Juventus runs out at the end of the season.......(Link Above)

Well I might be in an empty house for this one, but  I for one would love to see him back and what he would do under Kenny's stewardship
