Can't wait to see how Suarez will link up with those Gerrard passes & through balls!  :)

Yeah. Suarez really showed some Fowlereasque finishing in that situation.

Had some great passes also.

Had another good game against Chile who looks lively this year. Created the first goal, hit the bar once and had quite a few good shots on goal.

Did notice he is a fan of the flopping and acting...Better learn how to control it less he wants to contract a full blown drogbaism..

Foreign players are out for glory, trophies and money. I am a bit disillusioned by what he said that he dreams to play for Barca. So I assume he knew he's not here for the long haul and he's hinting Barca to sign him one day while he's still at his prime. So I hope we get the best out of him for 3 to 4 yrs and sell him for another 50 mill. It is who is in charge as manager that's important. When Cantona retired, Man U didn't miss him because Fergie was in charge and when we look back into the history of our club, when Keegan left for Hamburg, he was never missed because Bob Paisley was still in charge and look who he brought in to replace Keegan?

Uruguay just beat Argentina in a penalty shoot out. 1-1 in full time and no goals in extra time. Perfect PKs by Uruguay and Suarez who had his first "just" ok game in this Copa America. Tevez became the scape goat by playing quite bad and missing his penalty. Muslera who is Uruguays goalkeeper is probably the best young goalie in the world and did some Dudekesque saves. Most thrilling game in a long time if anyone wants to watch it. Our old favourite Mascherano got in the spotlight by getting sent off "how surprising". Uruguay played with one player sent off for about 80 minutes.

:D

The sad thing is that Suarez will probably be tied up with the Copa since they have an easier team next knock-out round.

The irony of it was that Mascher got his second yellow with a late hard tackle on Suarez  :D

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Well at least he will not be returning with a lack of match sharpness!
