More skilled than Torres, more determined than Rooney and his workrate makes even Kuyt look lazy

  :D

He was being compared to Tevez on sky last night
I know who Id rather have...

FiveLive were comparing him to Hernandez
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing

Best player in the league in terms of all round ability. The only players who come close are Tevez, Rooney and maybe Silva.

Got everything. Phenomenal workrate, great touch, finishing, assists. Hell he was even holding the ball up with his back to goal last night. I also love the fact that he's not afraid to miss. He keeps going back for more and has a never say die attitude.

Just think, this guy cost us the same as Man City paid for the likes of Milner, Lescott etc.

Infact for me, yesterday was the most complete performance from a Liverpool striker since Torres destroyed Vidic in the 4-1 win at Old Trafford.

As mentioned above in the City reference but can you actually believe we paid £1.8m less for Luis than Chity paid for Lescott :O

An absolute beast of a players is our Luis and with an improved supporting cast around him in the wide areas he WILL win us the Prem i have no doubt what so ever.

I'm def having a bet on him for player of the year next season (altho if he carries on as he has this season then Hernandez will get it due to the usual Manc love in  )
Shankly on boardroom meetings - 'At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.'

Here here.

He was all over the place last night.

Quote of the night from Kevin Phillips...'Hangeland will be wishing he was still ill as he can't get near Suarez'

I wonder what Suarez is worth now after the start to his career at Anfield   :;):

Who'd have thought when I was watching the World Cup last year that this player would eventually become a Red....what a performance last night....he gained my respect when he handled the ball on the line to save Uruguay....the amount of rubbish that was spouted after that about dishonesty etc was unbelievable, that's exactly the kind of player you want.

He's almost a different type of player.. When Messi plays, he's so quick and good with his feet he goes around defenders. Suarez goes straight thru them.  Can't wait to see him leading the team next season.

He gave Hangeland such a torturing last night the big man will be in therapy the rest of his life! This is the second time Ive seen a Liverpool player score a hattrick this season yet not be man of the match, simply because Suarez has been absolutely outstanding

Next season I hope the referees protect players like Suarez as they do in Spain with the likes of Messi. Because there will be some jealous bazterd who will try to go out and break him up next season.

He doesn't need protecting. If anything they will need someone to protect themselves should el pistolero lose it. Let's not forget we are talking about a player who was banned for biting. :D
