Scott Dann - decent player but they will want a lot of money for him and the price they are asking for i would prefer Cahill or Shawcross

Enrique - Arsenal are supposedly looking at him now - which team do you think he will pick if true

Wickham - he got injured just before the tournament - yes he would of been a risk but the guy has massive potential and would prefer 9 -10 mil on a 20 year kid

Marquee signing - i dont believe we will get one - the lack of European football goes against us

I know its early days but the fustration is growing .

We have so many areas we are weak in and we have spent 30 million in our already strongest area . Its worrying Ben it really is .

Downing i think we will definitely get, it appears close already by sounds of things.
Dann i would be happy with, decent player who is good in the air and decent with the ball at this feet, plus he is a scouser who supported us as a kid which i think can add a bit to the dressing room.
Enrique its hard to say really, Arsenal may be in for him but might not, Gibbs played alot last season and may well be their first choice the way Wenger has done things in the past.
Marquee signings, agreed they are difficult without european football, however not impossible. We did manage to attract Suarez when we were midtable last season.
Wickham had a slight knock but was fit for the euro's if he wasnt they could and would have replaced him.
Pearce just probably took him for experience.
He looks decent but very very raw. It would have been a gamble for us to go for him imo.
One i wouldnt have minded but wont lose any sleep over the fact that we never went for him.

What i want to know is who you want us to be signing specifically ?

Also if before the window closed we sign a decent left back, centre back, wide player and striker would you be ok with the Adam signing ?

I want a left winger - Downing would be decent

I want a LB - Baines would be ideal but never going to happen - So Enrique is next

I wanted a young up and coming CB - Cahill or Shawcross

A right mid  - someone like Hazard (marquee signing )

And a young striker - was Wickham but who now i dont know

All areas that needed sorted before we even looked at our 9th CM

So Downing who we are definitely in for.
A left back who based on what we are hearing, we are definitely in for.
Big rumours about Scott Dann round here, who would do for me.
Wickham would have been a major gamble at that price.
He hasnt kicked a ball in the premiership and was not considered good enough to get even 1 minute on the pitch in the euro u21's, sorry i mean experienced enough.
The marquee signing could easily come, if it doesnt then fair enough.

Barry - are we selling someone to get Downing in like?

Enqrique to us was meant to be a done deal, I want Baines anyway  :D

Don't know about centre backs, as long as it's addressed

You'd advocate us spending £10m on an unproven 20 year old yet you slate us for buying a captain of a club who had a good season in the premier league?  :Oo:

As for the marquee signing I think Mata is it. Aguero's been on the verge of Juve and they don't have Europe, some players will look at where we're going rather than where we are and right now I think that makes us an attractive club to be at

We've spent £23m - 7 on Adam and 16 on Hendo - obviously those figures are optimistic from an LFC point of view but it's somewhere around there, we can only speculate on that

It's a tad worrying only because of the amount of time it's taken us to do these two. I bet Kenny has another 3 targets he wants this summer. One has to be a left back tho...if not then we can worry

Let's see where we stand come the first weekend of August yeh. No Europe didn't seem to bother our Luis now did it, there's still plenty of time
All round the fields of Anfield Road

Im not sure its going to be possible to strengthen in all the areas that we need in this window.
Kenny has said that he'll only sign a player if he improves the squad and is better than what we have.
Maybe in some cases we'll miss out on targets due to no European footie and the alternative options won't make long term sense.

We've signed too many useless players over the years just cos we desperately needed to fill a position.
Id prefer us to sign good players that we want and if we cant, then make do with what we have.

It's not whinging it's called having reservations - I did the same last summer with the signings of Cole ,Poulsen and Konchesky and got the same :censored: from people like you - remind me once again how they did and their current situation .

he's a brilliant player but signing him makes no sense. he's not a wide player he's a traditional number 10 which is where suarez plays.

Sorry you still not told me how those players did last season what their current situation is ?

Was I incorrect in what I said last summer then ?

My point of view exactly - he is a great player - same with Augero but neither fits into the team - hazard on the other hand would - he would be the right sided Suarez - able to play up front - right mid - right wide and behind a striker .

some Championship club will take him on, chill out, Kenny knows who the c@ck ones are and wont play them  :D

yes mate there's reasons to be concerned but we're looking like we're gonna have a more solid and balanced squad in the coming season and if you pop over to the rumour mill there's talk of a left back coming in which will stablise our defence. Then a centre back, a winger and that marquee signing and we're all ready to go

*cough* its Aguero btw  :D

We aren't going to get Augero mate sorry - he is way out of our range and also where would he play for us ? He isn't suited to us with the players we have .
