Had some blood tests done in the doctors recently and everything I got tested for was fine.

However, the doctor did tell me Im suffering from high liver enzymes and i need to cut back big time on the drink  :D

He scheduled me for more blood tests in 3 months time to check the levels again and also for an ultrasound scan just as a precaution.

Im not an alcoholic really but i do enjoy a good binge drinking session and some beers maybe during the week.

Anyone else ever had this and did it improve by cutting back on the bevvies?

No, didnt have any symptoms at all for liver problems.
I probably have drank far too much whiskey and vodka over the last couple of years though.  Might try just sticking to the beers for awhile.

My missus works with alcoholics and well let me just say , don't even go there jack . Some bad sad sights where she works . Alcohol is none discriminatory , it f.ucks eveyrones lives up who become addicted to it . Where my missus works , there are fella's who have worked on concorde , on the thames barrier , school heads , scientists and a famous pop star from   A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS. There all f.ucked because of the booze and it's so sad to see . I love a good bevvy me , but from seeing what my missus has to put up with every day , i know now that moderate drinking is not a problem atall . It's the binging that f.ucks yer mate honest to god .

I agree with Igor Jack, once the liver gets worse the damage is permanent, so take the advice of your doctor cut back from drinking be moderate and don't binge anymore.

I'm going for a few tonight like, standard friday :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

When i drink, i drink a lot... but got faily history of alcoholism so i try to calm down. I used to get a lot of blackouts but after a few bouts of alcohol poisoning i gave up for a while, now im nowhere near as bad as i used to be
