Your first post, and my God, what a f*cking stinker.

90% of our side was sh*te today, and *gasp* shock horror, Mr Gerrard was one of the worst, even more so than Lucas, who've you've torn to absolute shreds.

Lucas may have had a poor game today, but he's been one of our best players for the last 18 months. Just a shame he doesn't play more Hollywood passes, or bang in Roy of the Rovers style overhead kicks from 40 yards out to appease the plebs.

My feelings too. First post and all  :no .

his post was made BEFORE the WH game so his opinion isn't based just on today's performance.

Well he's f*cked in the head if it's based from his previous 18 months.

Good post and just about sums up why we will struggle while he is being used as much as he is.
When we get a quality player to replace him this will all seem like a bad dream

I really don't get this anti-Lucas thing. None of us Lucas supporters would claim he is better than, for example, Masch, in that DM role. I think we all recognise the lad's limitations, but his performances and attitude have earnt him a place in the squad. I for one wouldn't complain if he played less if we had someone better, but I wouldn't sell him unless we get an offer we couldn't refuse.

He is certainly not the first player on my 'replace in summer' list, in fact he isn't on it.

I do not like this midfield of Lucas Gerrard and Meirelles.  They're all quality players but there is no balance there.  The club knew this that's why they tried to get Adams in January.  In my opinion Lucas should stay where's hes at, but we need a playmaker in there and for Gerrard and Meirelles to fight it out for the last spot.

agreed, cannot understand the happily deluded self proclaimed 'uber fan' that thinks this guys a player, he is not, he is actually :censored: in my opinion.

fair to say he wasnt at the races today at all.
he struggles in any sort of a fast paced game and couldnt cope with the speed at which wh tore through our midfield today.it was like looking at piggy in the middle watching him chase the ball down, never got close and when he did he conceded a freekick.

worth pointing out though that the whole midfield was bad today.
