Markus Babbel was awesome. Stig Inge Bjornebye didnt do too bad for us also.
Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”

Steve Mcmanaman dosnt get nearly as much respect as he deserves, especially by Liverpool fans. He was important to the team as Fowler was in the 90's but rarely gets mentioned as a great. I personally thought he was better than Giggs who is reguarly touted as the best thing since sliced bread.

No doubt the way he left the club affected his standing amonsgt our supporters, but he was a phenomanal playe from 94-98 and we havnt seen a player of his dribbling abilty since he left the club.
