I knew I'd finally get it right some where!

( NECK OUT AGAIN ) Didn't he also get sacked after a poor run of form?

they finished in their lowest league position for many years. that's why they were only in the uefa cup last season. van gaal was sacked and they appointed frank rijkaard. he brought in davids and ronaldihno and as a result they finished 2nd last season.

Yeah,it's amazing how many previously dutch based players are at Barcelona, at the last count I think it was six maybe seven. Must be the weather  :D

Van Gaal had two spells at Barcelona.

The first was middling and the second an absolute disaster.

To be honest I'm not a big fan of Hiddink and I couldn't see him doing much better than Gerard Houllier.

IMO opinion we need the absolute best coach/manager we can lay our hands on as he will be our most important signing for the next 3 or 4 years.

Even if it means offering Mourinho 3 million a year I would do it.

the best one around is fabio capello who may have to leave roma due to their financial state. lippi is going for the italian national job after euro 2004.

the problem with capello is he would want absolute control over everything at the club, including all transfers, and i'm not sure this is what we need.

mourihno look the most likely at the moment.

I just that money bags russki put's his foot in it and turns the deal sour.

I'd want to see Raniari ( can't spell ) to stay at Chelsea. He deserves another season.
