When you walk through a storm,
Hold your head up high,
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm,
There's a golden sky,
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown..
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone.......
You'll never walk alone.

Great first half performance, some good moments second half, but ultimately 2 defensive lapses let us down.

Credit to the players, massive applause to the fans who did the club and the city so proud. We just came up a bit short tonight.

We got to the biggest final in club football, and we looked the better side for the majority of the game. But that's football. It was cruel to Milan 2 years ago, and it's been cruel to us tonight.

Rafa, Hicks and Gillett, over to you.

They tried their best! AC Milan, looked bad and we didn't capitalize on their mistakes

Kudos to all the liverpool players! mascherano made kaka look ordinary, and gerrard did well against nesta.

Gattuso.. a cheat! always will be.

WE WILL BRING IT BACK HOME NEXT YEAR!  :buttrock

Touche.......

Every man and his dog were creaming themselves about Kaka and Seedorf before this game, and apart from the fall, and the through ball to Fillippo the pair of them were non-existant.

Pennant Mom for me followed by Mascha a close second.

I agree bamaga, many people on here doubted mascherano's ability to close on kaka... well well well, He did a fine mighty job today and was dissapointed when he was taken off.

Pennant was amazing, he had the ability to beat pass jankovolski and the other milan player's.

Rafa got his tactics spot on! many people are criticising him for no reason.

He didn't have a good left winger to start with anyways! so start with zenden, Gonzalez is cr@p and Kewell is back from injury.

His substitution though baffled me. BIG BIG MISTAKE taking out mascherano.

Already said this in another thread, which sadly has now been taken over by muppets from other teams and to many people who play "Championship Manager" and then become football experts !

:( Unlucky tonight lads, it just wasnt meant to be. The best team lost on the night and thats not a rose tinted view its a fact, but it doesnt matter. No one remembers who was the better team all that matters is the name on the trophy. In all honesty the best team lost the last time we played them, maybe this was payback.

Im not going to start complaining about who should have done what, who should have played or Rafas tactics, team selection or subs. I would rather discuss this night with a bit of dignity and pride

We had chances on the night to win it as did Milan, they took theirs we didnt

It was good to see harry back tonight, and i now look forward to what should be an exciting time for LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB. The changes will be made in the summer and hopefully we can push on and improve our league position and continue our love affair with the Champions league to

Well done tonight lads, its hard to take right now but you tried your best, it just wasnt meant to be

for me it was a game i never truely believed we could win...so i wasnt that emotionally into it to be honest

Not because we aint good enough, just because of probability...and the bulllshit factor........milan shouldnt be in the comp so they win it.........italian football in tatters cause of the cheating soo they must then win the world cup and champs league to make up for it...and they did

I am proud to be a liverpool fan tonight, better side, better individual performances, pennant has just brought himself another season, we finally have a replacement for didi hamman........and in harry kewell if he stays fit we wont have to buy another left winger

3 quality signings in the summer and i believe we will win the title, its about bloody time  :eyebrow

Destro.. spot on.

Lets look to the future, hopefully we can remove this painful memory by winning it 6 times next year.
