poor old Rafa, not had a job in a few weeks and the media might forget him so he jumps at the chance to talk about liverpool and how they could have go more for Torres and how he would like his old job back........jog on mate.

Former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has revealed a £70m deal for Fernando Torres was mooted last year, and that he would like to manage the club again.

"I have to wait and keep watching games, but if you say to me in the future would you like to be manager, for sure, no doubt about this. When, that is the question. I have to move forward, anyway."

Now I loved Rafa’s early years here, and for those early years, he will always be a legend in my eyes. However he lost his way a little in the last 18 months and maybe it was time for a change. (put this down to him, to owners, to cecil and / or coco if you wish – we’ve all had our say about it – many many times!)

He loves the club. That much is obvious. He knows us and he gets us. But to me, this interview comes across as he wants the job right now, and trying to say he could have got more money for Torres (I mean why say “it is big money, but it could have been even better” – it’s almost like a job advert!

I’ve only seen a bit, but should make interesting viewing….

Thank f*ck we didn't sell him for 70m last season because that 70m would have went to twIt and tw@t's pockets to pay the debt and ultimately still be here

Our owners should put an injuction on Rafa, basically... "the next time you speak in public to the media about our club we'll take ya to court and sue you for the millions you took off us in the first place".

What the hell has Rafa done wrong? We all know he had a 70M price tag up until a lot of injuries and a poor world cup.

Did you guys not hear the radio interview were Rafa spoke about "King Kenny" and called him KING Kenny repeatedly.

Hate the real C*nts like Torres, Masch, hicks, Gillette. Not a guy that genuinely loves the club.
