Saurez - Ajax are not gonna let him go for £15 million even with Babel thrown in. More I read on this deal the more I think it isn't gonna happen, especially now Spurs are interested. I'll kick fuk out of Harry Redknapp myself if he poaches Saurez from under our noses.

I dislike Spurs enough as of now. If they steal Suarez I will be beyond p!ssed. Although it seemed to me like 15 pounds plus Babel was interesting them. But maybe not.

Looks like we could land the Seville striker Negredo instead. More realistic price tag.

Im getting a bad feeling about this transfer too. Too many rumours and speculation. The best transfers are usually the one's like Meiriles were the player is basically just announced when the deal is already done and the media have little knowledge of what went down.

How many times have we been through this before though? Missing a top priority player and settling for 2nd or 3rd options... thats the route that leads to a poor squad.

I think Ajax is to blame for this particular transfer, I believe that the 17m bid was originally agreed upon but they tried to keep pushing the price and now we are in this mess. I mean there's no proof obviously but just from what I've read from people on RAWK and the general feeling around the transfer.

Agreed. I think they want to get as much as they can from whoever wants to pay it.

Fortunately for us I don't believe anyone else is really interested in Suarez right now, but at the same time we're running out of time so we might pay a little more than we initially wanted to.

if ya believe what ya read , the player wants to come to Liverpool, Liverpool made an offer which they excepted but De Boar has stuck his neb in and all of a sudden it'll take a massive offer to buy him. fuk it Ajax, just roll over and accepted what we're offering ya, you ungrateful bunch of tulips.

Supposedly spurs are but I've also heard they don't exactly feel he's the player they need. I've heard Chelsea as well, but not strongly.
