i thought he played ok yesterday.
Yeah he gave away freekicks as always but he was in a difficult position trying to break things up considering they had the extra man for so long.
Meireles was extremely poor yesterday, Lucas was comfortably the better player.

Well given that's three of our 4 man midfield and we were down to ten men it's a wonder we managed to only lose the game 1-0. Mereilles had a stinker, he gave the ball away countless times and bottled secveral tackles.

From what I saw they all gave the ball away needlessly. We could have nicked a goal, if they'd held the ball up better. Utd were pretty average yesterday. There was no sauce in them at all.

From here on this season I will not slag a single player or person connected with our club. =) Twitt and Twatt are gone and King Kenny is back.

Lucas didn't have a great game against the mancs but overall he has improved a lot the last year. He never seems to complain either. A trait that is seldom seen in todays world.

Played well but in the first half he was immense, second half was controlled by Raul more.

Feckin useless again!! I just can't believe how low we let our standard drop that we find Lucas to be the Future of Liverpool Midfield. Am i the only one that witnessed his careless tackles/Fouls near our box that could have easilyt been converted to Goals??? And that is against Wolves...Even Paulson managed a deep cross which led to our first goal and you are hailing the 2 feet passer wonderboy?

Yes i admit my mind is set already with Lucas. But please feel free to enlighten me how he "bossed" the Wolves game?

Biggest bunch of dross I have ever read... are you sure you were watching the same game?

The lad did well, against a very robust Wolves midfield. He sat back, broke things up and worked his little knackers off.

He has always had a little bit of quality, and his type of player will always look worse in a poorly performing side. He will blossom.

yeah great "deep cross" from poulsen for the first goal ???

and as for him committing silly fouls around our area, skrtel was more guilty of that.

just a question kid, have you ever actually been to a game live and watched the guy play? i ask because you don't seem to have a clue about what he brings to the table. and as for saying your mind is "made up", well that just about sums up the sky generation of modern day football supporter.

Lucas has been playing for us for 3 years ! He is No good! at his age you either have showed your potential already or you are another promise that will never be met. You are confusing hard workers with a legitmate liverpool starters it is not the same thing!! I never had complaints on his work rate and devotion but he is not good at anything. Not speedy enough ,not strong enough ,not clever enough - so Why the Feck are we keeping him??  we are downgrading are selves constantly First we Had Alonso then Masch and now Lucas -are you really that blind?

:Oo:  Am i wrong or was it Paulson that gave Meirelese the ball for the Torres setup??

Don't start me talking on Skertel, another useless passanger. But i remember at least 3 silly fouls ,one on the penalty edge exactly which Lucas carelessly gave.

I haven't seen him live ,but i did watch ALL of liverpool games "staring" Lucas and have yet to understand why he deserves a Liverpool starting shirt. And Yes after 3 years i would say it is enough time to have someone make up his mind....Or would you wait a decade?? Can't Tackle ,Can't Score ,Can't pass. For a reality check i suggest a small test ,close your eyes and think of Alonso ,Feel free to compare...Useless.

Lucas is playing well, but he's still not good enough for a top 4 side. Along with Maxi, he's average at best and should make way for better players when they come in.

would you take mikel, anderson, song or barry over him? because they're the players who do the same job for their respective sides.
