ROY HODGSON - Official Thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby RedSi35 » Sun Jan 02, 2011 10:14 pm

Joe cole has come to the defence of roy........

But 29-year-old Cole said: "We are all behind the manager. We all want to put this club in the right direction.
"We are out there playing for the shirt and the manager."

Playing for the fans would be nice too joe !

Either all these comments are misquotes or propaganda because if not we may have to accept the only people who dont like Hodgson are the Liverpool supporters  :D

This is why I will never subscribe to Sky for sports. The sad thing is, that there are some d*ckheads out there in our fanbase that take Grays and Sky Sports word as fact. They put Hodson on a pedestal and got him in the job, now they are trying to hide the fact that they've been made to look like total ballbags by no other than their mate Roy himself. They don't get this football club. They never will.

Im surprised to think that those fans who thought (and still think) that Roy could do a good job are all ball bags!

What pains me more amongst a lot of fans on here and other forums is the need for the told-you-so attitude. It doesnt help. On the flip side to those that want him and Liverpool to be a success is also the witch campaign to get him sacked no matter what.

Win our games in hand and get the additions we so badly need and we could be only 5-6 points off a champions league position. Now, whilst im not saying we'll get there, if we get 6th place then we have European football again.

This club has been raped by its former owners, and if anyone thinks one man, whether it be Roy or Rafa is to totally be blamed, then you need to support the bitters or Newcastle.

As fans we know we have had dark days, but there are signs of optimism at the club. All season long we are going to have this one step forward, one back problem.

Now we have owners who can back us financially. Shrewd investment in the team, (debated in other threads) and we could easily be challenging at the top next year, because the premier league gap has shrunk over last couple of years. No longer one powerhouse. (city could create a gap if they keep spending, but for how long).

It would be nice to come on here and read some good discussion, but itt'll probably go back very shortly to the tit for tat.

One final thing, I really have major concerns as to whether Hodgson can get this club together, I feel he is never going to get all the fans support and maybe the owners too. Personally, I've championed Owen Coyle and would love to see him take the helm at this great club, but until then, I'm gonna back the gaffer and players.

no wonder the mods go card crazy with some of the ballbags on here, what the feck has the fans wanting Rafa back or calling him a 'waiter' got to do with Roy's credentials to be the manager of Liverpool FC? Someone please answer that with some sort of relevance

All Rob said is that Sky are trying to relieve Roy of some of the stick he's been getting by blaimg Rafa. Personally, that's bullsh!t, Roy's current predicament is his own doing, nobody elses', it's no defence to blame Rafa. Ste then said that some ballbags believe that sh!te, which is true, some nobbers on here were trying to defend Roy by throwing sh!t Rafa's way which is complete b0llox

DISCLAIMER - SAYING I WANT ROY OUT OF LFC IS NOT INFLUENCED BY MY FEELINGS TOWARDS RAFA BENITEZ

kinel whats it come to when I have to say that eh? w@nkers
