Oh God not you aswell.

We had more players than any other premiership team at the World Cup. The squad isn't as poor as some make out. It may not be a top 4 squad but it should easily be good enough to finish in the top 6/7.

Last season was unacceptable when we lost 11 games and finished 7th. This season we've lost 8 already.

Thats another common one.

Name the players and the team they represented during the world cup.

Also, count the number of matches.

Owzat was mocked endlessly for his stats, these would come in handy for this particular argument.

the thing is there's no way he'll resign and keep what little dignity he has left. he's now somehow convinced himself that the fans are in some way responsible which is the last straw for me.

i can quite hoestly say that i haven't felt so disilliusioned and apathetic since the souness years. even through the dark day sof houllier and under rafa last season, nothing compares to how low i feel at the moment. bolton are 5/1 to win on saturday. lump on.

Honestly, he had been given more than enough time to prove himself. In fact, he was given a lot more time than I had expected. He should have been sacked much earlier as team had never been consistent exactly we are consistently bad. But i think his dismissal is delayed as he can be used as an excuse for the team's poor result by the Owner. Once Roy is gone, all the sh.it now goes to the owner. So, they were hoping to delay the result so they don't have to invest anything or accept this year as a rebuilding year. Having an owner not familiar with football or the  tradition might had done more damage to the club than he was intended to. It might be too late to salvage the season now and may had already done irrepairable damage since I expect most of our top players will be looking to leave in the summer if we don't get Champions Football again. Oh well, it is really tough as we as fans try to ride this out but the worse is kept getting worse....Just thought you hit rock bottom, but then find out the team had hit even lower than rock bottom.... Just don't know what to say anymore. Even if we get a new manager now, we don't have time and another excuse not to make any purchase in Jan.....

He absolutely must be given his walking papers tomorrow.  The camel's back has been snapped in two with this latest capitulation.  Sad days.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Last season was unacceptable when we lost 11 games and finished 7th. This season we've lost 8 already.

I keep saying it, now it's even more obvious than ever: if Benitez left Roy with such a poor team, then Rafa must be some manager to get us competing as well as we did do against ANY of the top sides in European football. Do these people forget that the majority of this squad is the same as the one that took on Inter, Barca, Madrid, AC et al and gave them a good spanking? Today our players sh*t bricks against the likes of Blackpool, Newcastle, Wigan, Northhampton, and the most recent to the list, Wolves. Yes, formidable opposition indeed. On an off day, a good manager with a good side might get a rare defeat against poor oposition like I've just mentioned, but not consistently. Roy Hodgson, and Roy Hodgson ALONE has brought us down to this level. No one else. He's had the luxury of working under owners and a stable environment with minimal expectation of finishing above 7th spot. He wasn't asked to win the league or anything else for that matter, yet he's still making a bollox of us. F*ck him, and anyone who still supports the man.

It is too big a job for him to manage a club of this size. He is just way over his head. What makes it worse is his consistently stupid comments that had alienated even the fans who wanted to give him the chance. No matter which way you look at Roy, he just doesn't cut it. We lost to Wolves at home for Chris sake...

I agree he needs to go, I have never witnessed such an unhappy atmosphere as last night, but some of the players need to look at themselves too.
Torres was pathetic last night, and not many were any better.
