If the rumours are  true and Inter are searching for a new manager capable of steadying the ship ,then they need look no further than Roy ...as long as they have plenty of polish for his LMA  :D he does like rubbing that
In fact I have heard a rumour that Roy has made a place for his  illustrious award in the Liverpool Trophy room in between the 5 European cups ..... then again I could just be speculating  :D

just for those who regularly defend the man this is what I refer to :

" The protest does not help but it is something I have had to live with since I came to the club. I, like everyone else at Liverpool, would be very happy if the ownership situation was clarified and in particular if we got a very good owner that could help us move forward. It is a major issue for a group of people who are very much anti the owners and anti the current people who are trying to solve the situation. I knew the situation existed before I arrived and it doesn’t help. But it is often the case that when things are conspiring against you there is always an extra thing to come in and make it that little bit worse. "

I could put forward literally countless quotes and sound bites that have soiled this media  image of him being a true Gentleman .... but for me personally the above quote spoke volumes and it is the one that   sealed his fate, and nothing he has said and done further has exonerated him ...the man has little regard for the fans and needs to go ,so we can wipe from our memories this fiasco since this supposed Gentleman took charge

If all it takes is for a description of like minded people to have "sealed his fate" then we are in a far worse state than you think. I know people who are involved in SOS and I would hope that they werent so girlishly sensitive about being called "a group of people" when in fact thats what they are.
The danger with taking exception to what people say is that you fall out constantly and end up alienating to the point of ridiculousness. If someone says something you dont like you shouldnt pout, stamp your foot and cry. How childish is it when a politician refuses to speak to a journalist because they ask awkward questions? Or a football manager wont talk to a television company because of allegations?
I am sure that SOS wouldnt like to be thought of in that light because they have made innovative an exciting roads with the club and we all owe them a debt of gratitude. It would be a shame if this group of people tarnished their outstanding reputation because of a trivial remark from an ignorant man.

IT still makes me laugh. How many times do you hear the "Why bring up Rafa?" argument, and the "Rafas gone, move on" but any sniff of him being sacked at inter and all over its "BRING HIM HOME!"

I seem to remember James Mc coming out and publicly  condemning the very same  contemptuous  statement by our naive manager ..
Do feel free to correct me if I am wrong ...you see I also know lads who swear by everything Macca says ...you know with him being the spokesman for SOS     :nod

You know what makes me laugh ? its these posters that choose to post after 4 in the morning ,less chance of an instant retort I suppose ...but they hear the SPECULATION surrounding Rafas position at Inter ...and as if by magic their  suddenly posting with like minded individuals at a much more sociable time ..... strange that ....

Apparently Rafa is in Liverpool but told Spanish radio this afternoon that he hasnt been sacked. However, the Italian press are abuzz that he's about to be given his P45 today after his frank post match interview the other night, which hasnt gone down well with Massimo Moratti.

Hes issued a back or sack me ultimatum to his employers by all accounts and so its likely Moratti will choose the latter given Benitez is in no position to start mouthing off after the results hes served up.
