AAARRRGGGHHH HOW MUCH SIMPLER CAN IT BE PUT

Give me one good reason why Hodgson should get more time past Jan , give me a positive on this season so far .?

Tell me the improvements we have made since we made the change ?

When we made a change during the summer did we take a step forwards or a step backwards ? - and was it a good change ?

He didn't daws, he took us as far as he could and lost it in the end.

That is all

Benny, why the hell would you listen to Rocky? :D

he took us as far, and if hed continued we would have been in a lot rmoe trouble than we are in now... thats how i see it.. no matter how bennty the moron will try and change facts we were awful and changes were needed

A change may well of been needed - but a change for the good - an improvement on the previous manager - not the step backwards Hodgson has taken us . Rafas last season is a defence for the poor job Hodgson is doing .

You have no idea where we would be if Rafa had stayed - but put it this way - we were never ever as low with Rafa as we have been with Hodgson .

we weren't but we may have eneded lower.. we'll never know

we may have won the league with Rafa, but its a lot more likely most of our players would have left and wed have been in a lot mroe trouble.. thats why he was sacked, as hed taken us as far as he could, and he was too stubborn to ever change

No he was sacked for trying to do battle with the owners. A battle he could not win, but one that seemed to take away the focus from football.

it had nothing to do wiht our style of play, the way he bought and sold over 60 players and never got an rhythm going?

Keep on thinking that lol

didn't Hicks side with him at one point? if he had a battle with the owners why did they give him a 5 year contract?

it doesn't make sense.

He is gone anyways, this is my last post on Rafa, I'm more concerned on Roy right now

As you want to talk about Hodgson and not previous manager - can you not answer these questions about our current manager

Give me one good reason why Hodgson should get more time past Jan , give me a positive on this season so far .?

Tell me the improvements we have made since we made the change ?

When we made a change during the summer did we take a step forwards or a step backwards ? - and was it a good change ?

when you say "more likely most of our players would have left" ? what players are you referring too?.

personally i see more disinterested players this year than last year and also believe, under roy we will lose far more if he remains for the duration of his contract.

1: Roy deserves more time because, you'll see as i answer the others

2: Improvements: We now have a manager who is not too subborn to change things around. We now have someone who will make mistakes but will change how he plays. Our away form was atrocious at the beginning, but Roy has changed how we put out our play. We saw that in the unlucky game at spurs. The newcastle game, that was just frwak bad play by all, the tactics were right but we were bullied in midfield

3: the step is obviously forwards, we dont have Rafa. He was great for us at one point, but had become stale, our football had become the worst in the league and you could see the frustration in the players. We needed change. We have roy, and id like to see him given the season to show what he can do in the January transfer window. Rafa had his time, now Roy should get his chance.

So basically your saying its all good because we no longer have previous manager at the club

Despite the facts showing us we are currently worse now than at the same stage during any of our previous 20 seasons .

Unlucky spurs game - one whole game which we lost , Newcastle game next away game which we also lost .

How is it a step forward when the facts and results show we have gone backwards ?

Any chance answering the same questions without mentioning the previous manager .

So they suddenly discovered that after giving him a new 5 year contract when he had already been at the club for years? Get real. it was obvious that there was a big conflict between him and the owners.

Here are my answers Benny

1. I can't, my heart says give him a chance but my head says he has to go because his tactics isn't right. I just have small glimmer of hope that he can still turn this season around.

2. Some of our fringe players have stepped up this season, which is fantastic to see, and it has to be credited to the manager for getting the best out of them.

3. It is a good change, under previous management,  the football became stale , a lot of mistakes happened,a lot of players were unhappy and a lot of wrong decisions were made. Its a step forward in terms of management change, but in terms of league performances and improvement, I'll give you an answer at the end of the season.

Roy has struggled to change things, of that there is no dispute.

Rafa started the rot, of that there is no dispute.

Rafa has since gone to the 5 times in a row league and last seasons treble winners and has them performing equally as bad.

Solution, we replace Roy when we can.

But not go anywhere near the man who started the rot and has continued in his own decline in management.

MH you have given the only positive i have seen this season - players like Lucas and Maxi playing lots better.

Surely for it to be called a step forward the manager needs to be an improvement on previous manager - is he an improvement on previous manager

The football this season has been bloody awful - worse than last season IMO .
