What is this Kennys inability to deal with pressure rubbish .

He walked out on us due to stress…he quit as manager of Blackburn after winning the title because he said “he didn’t need the pressure or stress anymroe”, he got sacked from Newcastle and Celtic.

Also, he’s also been out of the game for OVER A DECADE.

Add the turmoil a change of manager would bring to the squad’s harmony and you’ve got a recipe for disaster.

What squad harmony ????? Have you seen us play ? Have you seen the results ?? I dont give a feck about squad harmony when they are producing that shi.te week in week out

He quit us because of Hillsborough - so you cant even begin to think how he was thinking

He decided to move upstairs at Blackburn because he was asked to oversee the whole club for Walker

As for Celtic and Newcastle i dont give a feck - how many has Hodgson been sacked from ? Inter,Blackburn , Udinese ?

Kenny knows how to win titles and win titles with us

Hodgson doesnt even know how to win away matches .

Kenny didn’t quit just because of Hillsborough, he did so because the pressure of running a top flight football team against the expectation of a legacy of winning everything in the 80s. The LFC squad was in decline and he knew it, but was unable to cope with building of a new title winning Liverpool for the 90s.

As for overseeing Blackburn …that’s tosh. He went upstairs and then walked out completely when the going got tough, refusing to stand for the sacked Ray Harford in the process.

Don’t get me wrong, Kenny is and always will be a LFC legend. But he’s in the past. I fail to see how you think Kenny will wave a magic wand and improve our team. You make out that we’re losing every week, yet we beat Villa 3 -0 recently. Roy will keep us stable, but changing the manager (in my view) will see us getting dragged into the relegation battle. And would you really want Kenny in charge for that? Because I don’t.

Suggest you go read his book and the book of thommo and rush .

So one win against Villa is your defence ? What about the game before and the game after ?

Hodgson is more suitable for relegation battles .

Go compare their records as managers and see whos is more impressive .

i've read them, and lots of other stuff too and that's my opinion.

We'll have to agree to disagree. You think Kenny will wave a magic wand, and i think he'll lead us towards relegation.

I think Kenny will provide a bit of pride , a bit of passion a bit of know how and be certainly be able to set the team up a lot better than current manager - history shows he is a better manager .

He isnt my first option - it would be to get a manager like Hiddink , Loew or Van Gaal . If not then a young upcoming manager to work alongside Kenny ,

just what i said im impressed with what hes got to work with. He seems to be getting his message accross to the players like lucas and maxi. Yes hes made a few tiny mistakes but whos perfect. Im quite happy to continue and give him my support til at least the end of season. No manager in the world would of turned the current squad into title contenders. So lets give him abit of time to see whats what if by may hes struggling to get us in the top 5 then we can revalute but until then stop the pathetic moaning after every single game its childish and boring.

No one said anything about turning into title contenders but surely the minimum must be to do better than previous manager - is he - No he isnt . So why is he doing worse than the previous manager with the same squad .

Why should people give him more time when he is doing a worse job than previous manager ?

In what way is that doing a fantastic job ?

He is currently breaking our worst records

Worst start for 50 odd years , worst record away , goal difference , lowest position in 20 odd years

How is that fantastic .

What are you on about? most on here who wanted Rafa to go also had doubts on Roy's ability to improve from last season's diabolical performances, but they were prepared to give him a chance because he deserved one from the start.

Don't change the tune MH... most anti-Rafa's were saying Roy will do better than Rafa's last season... blah blah blah...

He isn't doing a worse job than the previous... he isn't even been an improvement too, we are the same as last season.

i think you'll find they said "he couldn't do any worse", and that would be correct. We're no worse off than last season.

Are we currently not 2 points behind where we were last season at this stage - is it not true that we have never been higher than 8th all season where as last season we were never as low as 8th

Im sorry but what i have seen this season is far worse than last season .
