Pointless topic really as this simply won't happen and wouldn't be considered by the new owners, the board, the players etc...

As much as I liked Rafa, that ship has sailed never to return into Liverpool again. Well unless for a visit of course.

it's too early to say that Rafa (or indeed Roy) have failed at their respective clubs, but as i mentioned earlier, it pains me to see that Rafa hasn't learnt a thing in regards to how he handles himself in front of the media. He needs to understand he lacks the charisma to play mind games and make philosophical remarks.

instead, time and again, he makes a complete tool of himself and his team suffers as a result.

Hence, Inter haven't played a decent game of football since his rant at Spurs.

"Every single press conference is even worse than the last one. He's talking about things that he doesn't know."...you got that right Rafa, put your ego away and do what you do best - manage a football team.

Reg? i dont follow italian football very closley and to be honest and i dont see what this has to do with the point. The League table tells the story. All I am saying is on one hand people are talking about getting RAFA back and the other sack Roy.
Neither manager has been given long enough in the job and neither has been an instant success.
As with both Rafa at Inter and Roy at Liverpool - both managers were brought in far to late in my opinion as neither could reall make an impact in the transfer market they would have liked.
So don't jump on your high horse REG - my last comments were not RAFA bashing Roy bashing or being pro to either.
Just pointing out facts. OK?

Same length of time as Roy at a new club. Difference being RAFA has turned one of the best teams in europe into an average Italian team.

I blame Parry

well in Rafa case the media and fans over there will only give him one or two games and if he dont win he will be sack, there was even talk of it last night (so sky say)

as with Roy, well just look at the team he has, yes he should have got better results but even on paper we are no better than a 5th place team in my view.

He got off to a shocking start when the all conquering Inter he took over where murdered by Atletico Madrid in the Super Cup and from then on its down the pan big time. They have a magnificent set of players there but hes still managed to tear it all down. I mean Sneijder and Etoo you cant go far wrong but hes somehow cracked it. If this snapshot from Inter is a glimpse into his work here its little wonder we are in tatters.

i personally wouldnt have rafa back because i want to see the next manager playing fast flowing attacking football and as good as rafa is imo his teams dont play that way
but i have to point out inter have had alot of injuries and still have a game in hand plus they hammered ac milan the other week and were very unlucky to lose that game, id judge rafa at the end of the season i think atleast hes earned that from liverpool supporters if nothing else where as roy has clearly taken us backwards and to be honest even when weve won we havnt played well

Don't deny it, there is a militant crew on most forums happy to see Roy lose and people are more concerned with Rafa's wellbeing.
