Two out of those three games would have been ideal for aquilani . Against wigan and west ham , sides that like to play the ball on the deck. An attacking creative (yes lightwieght ) midfielder would have been the ideal way to play against them , someone who would not just sit back and let them have all the possesion and territory  but someone who could enable us to play higher up the park and give there midfield and defense problems.  The manager though has other idea's unfortunatley

I don't agree. The lad lacked heart to play against a backdrop of rough 'n' tumble football. Heck, even Rafa admitted that Aqua's problems were as much mental as they were physical. Wasn’t there a time were he was psychically ok, but claimed to be injured and wouldn’t play?

A couple of hard kicks and (like Maxi) he vanished into his shell...we need fighters, not passengers.

Gerrard will be out for 3 - 4 weeks.  Kuyt is injured.  Cole and johnson are still doubtful i believe.  Agger is injured.  Even Torres and Skrtel are struggling.

Couldnt he see this coming, that weve have virtually all our first team injured at the same time?
Its all Hodsgons fault
Fu'ck him off now!

Well, he didn't have to send Aqua in particular and Insua on loan if the squad is so thin.
We still have a strong enough team to beat West Ham.

Aquilani had neither the heart nor desire to make it in the premier league. He wouldn't be much use against the likes of West Ham, Stoke or Wigan.

Wrong. He has fitness issues but that was just a matter of time as he was overcoming a long term injury.

He was the top assist-maker in PL in first half of 2010.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

At last Igor were singing off the same page.
I dont give two sh'its what Benitez said about his state of mind, the lad had class written all over him. 7 assists and 2 goals (against so called "lesser" opposition) tells us that he would have been ideal for the situation were in now.
Whatever the reason hes not here its a Fu*king stupid one in my eyes.

Aquaman the genius! The player we would of needed against the likes of Wigan, Stoke, West ham etc??? That's a puzzler for me.

Now Roy is getting the blame for him leaving cos Gerrards injured and he's his replacement. Absolute joke. I really hope the lads trash west ham tomorrow with young Shelvey having a stormer alongside Poulsen .

I thought Aquilani himself stated that it was his decision?

you wont win thommo its the british mentality unless you get stuck in your not worthy. I know aqua will give the ball away and miss a tackle or 2 i dont care cos i know he will see a pass or create something at this level you need skill to unlock a defense. Even as a sub aqua can come on and up the tempo when weve been lacklustre like at wigan or stoke. What im saying is he gives you options. At the moment with dont have a plan b.

Are we really going over Aquilani again ? There is pretty much nothing we can do about him now , he is no longer a Liverpool Player unless Juve decide not to take the buy option and considering how well he is playing that's unlikely . He is gone -nothing we can do now .
