I have a feeling things are about to get a whole lot worse for Roy.
Gerrard will be out for 3 - 4 weeks.  Kuyt is injured.  Cole and johnson are still doubtful i believe.  Agger is injured.  Even Torres and Skrtel are struggling.

Well, he didn't have to send Aqua in particular and Insua on loan if the squad is so thin.
We still have a strong enough team to beat West Ham.

Aquilani had neither the heart nor desire to make it in the premier league. He wouldn't be much use against the likes of West Ham, Stoke or Wigan.
