Id rather have an up and coming manager with a bit of hunger rather than another old timer thank you very much. Its a myth that you need a manager with a CV as long as your arm to be a success, you need one with desire, knowledge and fight.

I probably would too. I say probably because I think it has taken him too long to work out how best to set up for England. But he would be a great choice imo.

Thing is can't really see him stepping down until after the Euros. Can deffo see him managing a club in England though.

Hey Thommo's Perm..I'll give you an explanation!!

Mr Roy Hodgson is 'out of his depth'*

*So by that phrase we mean that the job he has taken on is way beyond him.

*We mean that Liverpool FC is a big club with one of the largest fan bases on the planet. Mr Hodgson does not appreciate this and thinks he is managing a mid table club (e.g Fulham)

*He is out of his depth when it comes to the tactics and quality of football expected at Liverpool FC. Decent attacking football is beyond him.

*He is drowning in the sea of his own mediocrity (out of his depth!)

*He has no ability to inspire a team of internationals and superstar players...he is out of his depth!

*He cannot understand the importance of players that like 'to play a bit'

If he was a proper grade 'A' quality manager, he would have the balls to tell Carragher that he is not 'Mr Liverpool'. However when it comes to dealing with players it is clear he is ...out of his depth. He has got rid of Aquilani; he has alienated Agger, Johnson and Pacheo!

How many more examples do you need that the current incumbent of the Liverpool FC manager's position is ...OUT OF HIS BLOODY DEPTH? ????

Good explanation. Thanks
Most of those points are debatable rather than fact though.
See SumScouser, it can be done.
