That's a very good question mate, although I don't think in this case you need to as I think I'm right in saying you are allowed to post in here still even if you do "unappreciate" Roy. It's the way it's always been, people are permitted to post good things and bad things.

As for the thread in the other section, as I obviously don't "appreciate" Benitez to quite the same extent as some on here, I suppose I'll have to create an unappreciation thread as well. Will that mean though that people who DO appreciate him aren't allowed to post in my thread, that you get a card for saying "remember Istanbul" or something  ???

It's very strange.

Its not at all strange, the only people who continue to vent their spleens at Benitez are people with chips on their shoulder.

He's gone Mick, draw a line under it, deep breaths and count to 100, you dont have to go on and on and on and on and on anymore. Send the troops home.

We´ve got WOY instead.  :buttrock

lets have alook, last 6... for us cheatski and manure

us: LDWWWW witha  euro league winner in there - 9 league points from 15

Cheatski: LWLWWW with a CL win in the middle - 9 league points from 15

manure DDWWWW with a CL win in the middle - 11 league points from 15

We have by far the smallest squad, with the worst overall squad when you look at it, so are we still in as bad a position as everyone makes out?

2-0 win against Chelsea was ok wasnt it?
Kuyt still just coming back from injury... a lot of posts and bars being hit...

all im saying is that its going too far the shouting and screaming when you look at Cheatski lately, or citeh which i havent looked at yet... there aer a lot of teams playing badly, doing badly, getting wrong results.. its a tough league

Yep got no complaints with the first 45 mins against Chelsea and 45 mins against Arsenal and 20 mins against the Mancs but other than that it's not been good enough .

It puts it into context really that people think we have been a disaster this season (we have) and yet we are still within a point or so of where we finished last season. Quite why those same people couldn't see how bad we were last season as well is as big a mystery to me now as it was then.

No argument from me though, we have definately been utter garbage for the last 18 months or so.

And what happens when those other teams hit form as well - they maybe playing poor but they are still above us . If we want to take advantage of the current situation then we have to change our mentalilty our tactics and set up .

Mick last season has gone - get over it please . No one has denied we were awful last season but its nothing compared to what I have seen from the stands this season .

That's precisely the point though, it is comparable because we are in almost exactly the same position. It doesn't really matter whether you watched it "from the stands" or on Youtube, or indeed if you didn't watch it at all, the results are very comparable. They are better in some cases, the same in others, and worse in others. The net result is we are in almost exactly the same position so of course it's "comparable".

The reality of course is last season was a disaster, the manager made a nonsense of it and he had to go. This manager isn't doing any better, he is doing equally as badly (that's why it's comparable) and he has to go too.

see there is where we disagree... i see a sparkle back in some fo the players... and the form will come im sure of that. Last season for most of it the players were in a daze looknig at the bench shaking there heads... this eason we will prevail
