I don't think Roy will be sacked, not until they get a new CEO in place

Just watched Liverpool Texas again on youtube and it got me thinking;

As bad as Hick's & Gillette were & don't get me wrong they were THE worst thing that has ever happened to this Club in it's 118 year existance, I fear the present incumbent of the "Hotseat", Mr Hodgson could surpass them & do more damage between now and the end of the season unless curbed than they did in just over three year's.

We know already we're playing incipid/defeatest football if you can call it football away from home, our form at home is not much better, were currently destined to finish around about twelfth, if you average thing's out.

The current Managers record in the transfer market if you take into consideration his career is woeful when you consider his three signings for us have been Jones, Konchesky & Poulsen, the pattern continue's, ( I have purposely left out Cole & Mierless cos to this day i don't know WHO signed them)

We don't have a BAD Squad despite what many may think, it's rammed with International Players and yet we consistantly underperform, so what's going to happen?

IMHO at the end of the season if thing's don't change the following;

Well, Torres is off for a start, likewise Reina if a CL team come in for him despite what he say's, and to be honest I wouldn't blame either of them, Agger & Johnson will be off, Pacheko Likewise, Stevie G might & I say might be tempted by Jose for a blast at another CL Winners medal, Aquilani will sign for Juve for a cut down price. God know's what will happen with the aformentioned Cole & Mierless.

Where then does that leave us, the chance of recruiting the best top class players to get us back into the Champion's League has GONE, Top Players will not come to a Mid-Table side, unless they are offered rediculous Money, a fact that NESV has already stated they are NOT prepared to pay or do.

The Simple fact is this is our best chance this season of getting back into the Top Four, the season so far has been unlike any other in the last fifteen years of the Premiership, people say we're not good enough, shush, jeez, with a bit of guile and a bit of fight we could have been on 21 pts after playing "alehouse" teams in the last two games!, instead we have taken 1 point.

City will go into "meltdown" hopefully/probably as the Sheik will want more from a team he has invested over £300m in over the last year, Utd are a shadow of their formerselves, Chelsea, who know's how it work's their but Wilkin's going has had an effect already.

Bring's us back to Do reah Me, Liverpool under Mr Hodgson (Being respectful you'll see, don't want to offend the Liberals amongst you!)

So we finish mid-table, the established "Star Players" GO, we can't recruit suitable replacements, this is the dilemma and the fate we will face as a Club if thing's are left unchecked.

We've collectively as Fans protested, cajoled, and damn right bullied the previous Owners OUT of this Club, for fear of losing our Best Players and ending up a mediocre mid table Team for THREE YEARS!

How ironic is it that with Mr Hodgson left unchecked and not brought to task, that what we as Fan's fought so hard against, what we fought so hard for, will be our destiny anyway.

LESS CREATIVE HA HA .

“When you come to Stoke you know you are in for a battle whoever you are. We did our best to deal with it and their first goal was a bit unfortunate. If we had been less creative Pepe (Reina) would have kicked the ball as far down field as he possibly could, not thrown it to Paul Konchesky and try to build from the back.

“They pressurised Paul well, from the ensuing back pass Pepe couldn’t get his kick away and they scored from the long throw which ensued.”

Hodgson insists his side are not back to square one and believes Saturday was just a blip.

“I don’t see why it should give us enormous reason to doubt what we are doing or doubt what we are capable of doing,” he said.

Nice picture of Jesus!

You're point is WHAT exactly? or would you feel better if i'd talked about Trans Warp Deflectors rather than pointing out the inevitability of this Club going down the Tube's with Hodgson in charge? ?????

It's Funny my first thought was Jeezus as soon as i saw your reply, Forum Moderator's, you ............ kill me, you should be on the stage!

Just read this quote from Comolli.

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news....terview

Is he (Hodgson) a man you have a lot of respect for?

Obviously. When you see the clubs he has managed and the national teams he has managed, what he's done at Fulham, what he's done at Blackburn

I started hearing the sound of a fishing reel being drawn in when I read that Pepe part. But it's actually real.   :sniffle

It just gets worse and worse.

The sad thing is Girl he actually believes in what he's saying ...35 years in management and he actually feels that's enough of an explanation to give to the supporters of this legendary club  :(
