Lifted from Rawk ...One of my favourites by Hymer Red
to the tune of Away in a manger

Away We're In Danger
We got ten at the back
And the way that we're playing
Will get Roy the sack

With Nando on his own
And no midfield nearby
He is waiting all lonely
For the ball in the sky

At home we're no better
Our style is the same
If we stay at the bottom
They will chant Rafas name

The crowd are all brassed off
They all want Roy sacked
If we dont climb the table
He will never be backed

So a plea to John Henry
You know why we're sh it
Have a word with Roy Hodgson
And get him to quit

If he wont go without pushing
Then you'll have to get tough
And tell him quite firmly
That enough is enough

Then go see King Kenny
Ask him to stand in
Till the end of season
And then we'll start to win

When the season is over
And we're back near the top
You can bring back our Rafa
And please all the Kop .....

Heres another verse:

Roys days are numbered
And he'll soon have to go
But could he have saved us
I guess we'll never know

Rafas a wierdo
and does what he can
But the riddling spaniard
must stay in milan

Why do you constantly have to defend Roy by undermining Rafa? Can you not just sat what you like about Roy rather than criticising Rafa. Rafa is not Roy's yardstick to measure him against. The aims of Liverpool FC are and he's failing, accept it
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

How is that undermining Benitez?
We all know he came out with some belters while he was here (and since he left)
I was asking people not to quote him because I cant be ar'sed reading them.

But what's that got to do with the Roy carols? No one was ever talking about Benitez but you felt the need to bring him into it as a prelude to shyte poem which by the way was blatantly made up on the spot.

Houllier said some silly things too, are you going to do a poem for him too whilst we are reminiscing?

:rasp  :D

And he'll soon have to go
But could he have saved us
I guess we'll never know

Rafas a wierdo
and does what he can
But the riddling spaniard
must stay in milan

Heres another for which I penned myself
to the tune of a Christy Burgh classic A spaceman came travelling

A pensioner came travelling on his ship from afar,
'Twas light years of time since Agger  did start,
And over Anfield  he halted his craft,
And it hung in the sky like the ball, just like a ball ...

He followed a light and came down to a shed
Where Purslow and friends were giving some  head
A bright light of silver shone round his grey wig
And he had the face of a domestic bird  and they were afraid...

Then the pensioner spoke, he said "Do not fear,
I come from the bow bells  a long way from here,
And I bring a message for red fans  to hear,"
And suddenly  Roy Orbisons  music filled the air...

And it went la la.la la ..
defensive football to all men, and love for the Danish

This strange music went trembling through the ground,
And many were weakened on hearing that sound
And tabbies from Charlton, Anfield  they found
By the sight of that ball in the sky, which never came down ..

And just before dawn when recording for Sky
The pensioner returned and said "Now I must fly
When one  extremely bad year of your time has gone by
This song will begin once again, to a Kopites  cry..."

And it went la la  ... Roys riddled  this club with pain
To a Kopites  cry...
And it goes la la... defensive football  to all men, and
Love for the Danish..
Oh the whole world is waiting, waiting to hear the song of King Kenny again,
There are thousands standing surrounding the ground
And a personal  secretary  is typing  somewhere, Roy's p45  is nearly here,
This song will begin once again, to a kopites cry...

Ok its not exactly Rodgers and Hammerstein but I think you will agree its equally offensive as yours

Read the carol again mate
It clearly states Benitezes name and something about him returning...
Of course I made it up on the spot. I think it was a good effort considering I didnt have the benefit of time.
