Should have done better though

I think the Shelvey for Meireles one was a bad one, but Poulsen for Kuyt, I had no complaints at that. That one made sense, we needed to try gain some sort of control in the midfield, so that for me was a good move. It would have proven to be a master-stroke if Gerrard hit the net instead of the bloody bar !

I don't know mate, we could have done something else, brought in Ngog to hold the ball more and at least went for it. I have no idea why he also had to put Eccelston

its the same again, we lose its his fault, we win its not.

i dont know what happened last night, but is that 3 wins and one draw from the last 4? I woulda taken that 4 games ago.

The league isnt like it used to be, all teams are drpping points all over the place. Wigan won at Spurs earlier in the season.

Our first half performance was class, but its the subs that ruined it for us, and that is Roys fault... but the players just seemed to turn off, and thats down to the players. Yeah we are gonna get idiots calling for Roys head everytime we drop points, but we're 1 point off 5th, and we can move forward from that with ease. Its already been a long hard streeful season behind the doors and on the pitch and he deserves a little bit of credit and respect from the supporters.

Thats just how i see it.

Daws people are p!ssed off because we sat back after we scored, they are p!ssed off with these tactics, this is what Roy does, this is what he has always done, his away record is absolutly dreadful seriously mate.

Out of 72 points he has managed 12 thats 60 points dropped away from home between us, Blackburn & Fulham. These are the stats mate even the people who love him cannot defend that record its awful.

I understand, i cant work out why we sat back... i just dont buy this 'blame the manager' stuff. The players are the ones on the pitch and have to adapt. A 'play' is never set in stone. The players just lost focus, maybe got too cocky after a few wins on the bounce, and we paid. But a 1-1 draw away to wigan isnt the worst result we're gonna see in the league this season. Plus, if we're gonna have a go at the manager for this, we need to praise him jhust as much for the Chelsea game, which a lot no ehre havent done. cant have your cake and eat it all the time.

(But it was just bizarre how we sat back, confused the f*ck outta me)

Change your patter!

You go on about the roy lovers always bringing up the past yet you bring up his  stats from Fulham! WTF do they have to do with us?

I hate going back to last season but our away record was shameful then. in the last 4 games we have 3 wins and 1 draw. The form team in the premiership. Is it really that bad. A win at the weekend and we could be fifth.

Daws is right, we win its the players, we lose its roy. Unbelievable. We win together and lose together!

We know you cant stand the guy, but your quotes ciggy on this topic are boring now, please stop it.

BTW, i dont need people sending remarks to back ciggy up. She knows were i coming from. She's a very good poster on this forum and RAWK but on this one its just getting tedious.

And you know where im coming from a manager gets a job based on his CV and his performances winning games and trophys well atleast thats what the Liverpool managers job entails.  But the wrong people hired the wrong manager for the job thats the truth and the truth hurts.  Thats why you and others go on the offence because you know its the truth and some of you dont like it.

If you seen Roy last night you would almost feel sorry for him because after such a short space of time being in job he just cannot handle it, thats not my fault, thats not your fault, thats his own fault for accepting one of the biggest jobs in world football, and I think he realises this now.

BTW I cant be @rsed argueing about him all day with you or anyone else so no quoting the whole subject is boring the sh!t out of me.

and Arsenal would have drawn if not for a man of the match eprformance from the keeper. Neverton were lucky to draw. Man City (yeah 4th) are on a bad run...

All im saying cigs, is look at our last few games, we've been pretty good. Its awesome that away to Wigan we are really pi$$ed off we didnt win, and based on the first half we should have. As our new owner has said, its a new manager, and hes still finding his feet, but i honestly think we're doing better than people give us credit for.

Yeah we still need massive change, we need to push more, we all know that, but thnigs are looking a shedload betetrt han a month ago

i agree that hodgon's tactics weren't exactly inspiring and that he got the team sitting way to deep in the second half. however, bringing on poulsen did allow gerrard to get further forward and we actually began to look a bit more threatening again towards the end. if gerrard's shot had been 1 inch lower we'd be celebrating 5 wins on the bounce.

so, probably hodgson was at fault for the way the team was set up, but i can't think how to blame him for the players' complete and utter lack of ability to pass the ball to each other. the sitting deep and countering might have worked if we hadn't given the ball away cheaply with such unbelievable regularity. i don't think any of them had a good game and i'm hoping that its only tiredness that's to blame. having said that, i think the manager needs to do a bit of clever reshuffling for the weekend.

But Dawson we havent mate seriously, the only time we have looked good this season was against Arsenal and mascherano played in that game and the first half against Chelsea.  Match going reds all say it, on sunday the commentators said this is the best display of football since Roy took over that first 45 minutes, I am not making it up for the sake of moaning about it, I want to see us playing better, I want us challenging for the title but there has been no evidence that this will happen anytime soon.

We have left the relegation zone but we have not played well all season, only a fool would say we have.
