Could it be pettiness perchance?
No because not just Dubains live or work there !!!
Even had West Ham fans taking the p!ss, your clubs finished now its over and they are bottom Ive never felt so ashamed and ridiculed in my whole time of being a Liverpool fan in 40 years.
Our club has been on the decline since H & G took over. Many supporters have took the wee wee. West ham fans are laughing as it unusual to see us in the mire with them, I bet they wont be laughing so much this week.
I will be honest. I dont think Roy is the answer for us. He was drafted in after a successful season at Fulham. He could have stayed their and been adored but he didnt, he took up the challenge of his life under the most ridiculous of circumstances, and accepted what Liverpool offered him.
He doesnt deserve the hatred. He doesnt deserve the insults. He DOES deserve the criticism when his tactics are stale and simply not working, he also deserves it when he is playing players out of position and of course when he is responding to every question the media ask him. He has been in the game a long time, built up a lot of respect for other managers in this league and struggles to find a balance between the passionate Liverpool supporters and fellow managers he has known a long time.
Leeway has to be given. We cannot jump on his back after every press conference he gives. Thats a job for the gutter press, not the Liverpool supporters.

Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”
