ROY HODGSON - Official Thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby metalhead » Tue Nov 02, 2010 12:52 am

Look, I don't think Rafa had to go on about hitting back at some nonsense that Roy said. Both managers in my mind are acting like little children who are fighting for the last cookie. Roy, give it a f*cking rest, and try to figure out how to win Chelsea. Rafa, shut the hell up and concentrate on your own team, your not our manager anymore.

For once, we need to talk about LIVERPOOL FC! not ''ooo I would have Rafa back'' or '' well in Rafa lad'' or '' Rafa is GOD'' or '' Rafa needs to concentrate on winning the Seria A'' this Rafa thing is driving me insane, I thought we are talking about Roy, how he should f*cking improve and most importantly LIVERPOOL FC!

Heres the quote of all quotes from tonights Echo:

“We don’t usually win away from home so it’s nice to do so for a change and we hope it’s a springboard. With Napoli, Blackburn and then today it’s been three very good results.'

WE dont usually win away from home Woy, or YOU dont?

Just seen the Rafa interview, he looked a little rattled as he stumbled through it. I think he has every right to respond to Roy's comments but none of it does Liverpool any good thou. Quite sad I enjoyed Rafa owning our manager tbh but there you go.

:nod Look, Roy spouts on about us -like- some ignorant tw@t (so i'm not calling him one) then expects no backlash from Rafa?  Rafa is obviously still very upset that he had to leave us and go manage Inter and he has a right to defend himself against accusations from someone who has no idea about what has gone on the past few years here.  All I see it as is that Rafa still cares and Roy is obviously ill advised, it might not be the "liverpool way" to back an ex manager over our current one but it definitely is not the "liverpool way" to act the way Roy has toward Rafa.  Most of his press conference hit out at Rafa indirectly in one way or another and it's getting annoying as feck.  For me Roy has been the one starting all this needless press drama and he needs to sit back and just do his job.

Ok we have the milk, and the sugar...

Now is rafa going to go with Coffee or a Tea Bag?

We need a response to rafa from roy to find the answer, my bet is, coffee. Place your bets !

Excellent post mate, Roys blaming Rafa for the poor results, so are the british media, but the team we have should not have been in the relegation zone.
Roys last win away from home in the league up until sunday was 442 days ago now them stats are feckin freightening they are terrifying, and the jibberish embarressing press conferences are just as bad.
Considering hes english hes old and is so experienced so he keeps telling us he knows feck all about Liverpool football club, or its fans.

on sunday after the bolton game he went on about the famous win in Trabsonspor like we had never seen a vicorty abroad  :glare:  its shamefull and embarressing to everyone.  I always watch our games without fail but this fella has totally killed all my passion and love I had for the club I wasnt even @rsed I had missed two league games, and the napoli game I watched about 10 minutes of it.  Ive never ever, ever done that before in my whole entire life.

He has to go he is nothing but a fraud he has won f,uck all of note in his wonderfull 35 years of management and i cannot wait to see the back of him, hopefully this week when John Henry has this meeting with him.

And Thommos perm your saying Kenny, his son and Rafa need to shut up about Roy maybe they are as concerned at the fact we are stearing into the abyss with total idiot of a manager who may if he stays any longer do so much damage it wont be ever repared.

Id say 2% of the fan base back him and thats just on this forum everyone I know hates his guts and wants him gone now.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

This is the Roy thread :)

:) So after probably twenty posts talking about Rafa this and Rafa that over the last couple of hours (a dozen or so since my one), you choose to pick my one out and tell me to drop it :D.

Thats the thing, the hatred.

Why? what has he done to warrant such hatred?

This is what shames me. The guy himself has done nothing wrong. Is he good for the position at Liverpool, probably not. But what has he done to warrant such hatred?

This shames you? He is making a f,ucking show of our club and I am ashamed of him, Ive had my son ridiculed in Dubai and Abu Dhabi this past fortnight for wearing his Liverpool kit even by the customs officers and passport control taking the p,iss liverpool good with Rafa Liverpool not good Hodgson in the shopping malls walking around they where laughing at my child because of this feckin idiot we have in charge something that has never happened in the 4 other times Ive been there this past year.

I dont take to kindly of people reducing my child to tears and its down to one man that clueless fool of a manager. And if you have to ask then you just dont get it like him he buggers off to london back home after every game, has never stayed at any club longer than 2 seasons and some of you are putting him on a peddastil like hes queen f,ucking bee why? Please tell me why?
tell me what he is going to win us, the CL? NO, The prem? No. why do you want him to stay?

98% of the fanbase want him out and with good reason if you have to ask then your as clueless and deluded as he is !!!

This Rafa comment really grates me!

Its obvious that he does not want our new MANAGER (as oppose to COACH) to succeed.

All of you rafa fans, ask yourself this question.

"DO YOU THINK RAFA WOULD BE HAPPY IF WE WON A FA & UEFA CUP DOUBLE?"

If your answer to this question is "NO", then you have to presume that the man does not have our club, or fans best interest at heart.

The man tries to get our players on the cheap, takes a huge pay off from the club (another debate), and publicly underminds the Liverpool Football Club Manager (not coach).

What more does he have to do, for you to realise that he is an arrogant, stubborn, and now somewhat bitter individual.

I think he should be concentrating on how he's going to stop Gareth Bale tomorrow night, rather than trying to publicly humiliate our manager.

BTW is there any way to find my previous posts, i'm sure i've had some deleted from this thead.

I think he would be happy yeah, more for the fans who he fought for and who backed him than anything else like.

And about him trying to get our players on the cheap thats a load of sh!te, he has no say in transfers. Otherwise he might well have had a go at getting one or two of his expensive flops.  :D
We couldnt have that!

How? By pointing out the obvious? a lot of money has been wasted on tripe? Where is he wrong?

And from Zidanes post:

All I see it as is that Rafa still cares and Roy is obviously ill advised, it might not be the "liverpool way" to back an ex manager over our current one but it definitely is not the "liverpool way" to act the way Roy has toward Rafa.

And telling the players not to sign a new contract to remain at the club before rafa does is the Liverpool way?

Roy has told it as it is. Rafa blew what money we had on average players. Justify the money spent on Glenn Johnson, Justify the money spent on Keane, Justify the money spent on Aquilani. It cant be justified. Rafa blew it, his own self arrogance insisted that he knew best, guess what, he didnt.

Roy has made one mistake, he accepted the job straight after rafa left.
