At the risk of doing a Sabre jinx, this is how it looks the race for Primera.

1 R. Sociedad 25
2 Cartagena 23
3 Hércules 23
4 Levante 21
5 Elche 21
6 Rayo 20
7 Córdoba 20
8 Recreativo 19
9 Gimnástic 19
10 Villarreal B* 18
11 Betis* 17
12 Numancia 17
13 Las Palmas 17
14 Salamanca 17
15 Girona 16
16 Albacete 16
17 Huesca 14
18 Cádiz 13
19 Real Unión 12
20 Celta 12
21 Murcia 10
22 Castellón 8

At the end of the storm...

The good thing about storms is that it somehow reinforces your club feelings. Obviously what Liverpool are going through right now is a storm too, but it will end.

22 October is not yet another day in San Sebastian, that day came a great club to this town, and it's still remembered as one of the top 5 games in all the history of the town.

This photo was tough to find until today, I like it

22 October 1975

History shows you lessons, like a big truth: The big clubs always come back to their position they deserve. And Real Sociedad is back in Primera, and Liverpool will be on top of the English league sooner rather than later.

That young goal keeper, Arkonada, was later a known Spanish international keeper for many years. He made his debut against Liverpool in the UEFA, against his future coach Toshack who was a striker back then... not an easy start to professional football eh?

Tha final score Real Sociedad 1 - 3 Liverpool.

Don't ask me the result in Anfield, it's painful, but we have to be faithful to the history:

Liverpool 6 - 0 Real Sociedad.

Real Sociedad was a growing team back in 1975 and that growth ended up in two league titles in 1981 and 1982, but back in 1975 facing Liverpool was probably the toughest game you could find in the World?

No, you only owe me a visit to my town. If we don't find a fúcking hótel, it shall be in my home.

And yes, Gijon is one of the most likely away games in my agenda, I have to see if the week end fits the agenda.  :)

No much changes in my life, just a few less kilos than in our last encounter and a much better blood pressure.  :) I can afford some chorizo again, fortunately.

Not perfect, no, but good enough for four months mate.

"Espero aprender castellano, y empecé (past) a estudiarlo hace cuatro meses. ¿Creo que la gramática es perfecta aquí?

If you want the opening question mark in an english keyboard, alt + 0191

Count on me if you want good marks in your spanish homework or impress your teacher  :D With all the patience you had with my english and all the info I get about Liverpool here it's the least I can do.  :)

Off to enjoy the Liverpool game.
