its a very good post Fivecups. this particular bit drew my attention. it certainly looks like the media has this habit of kicking the club when we're down. its a good attention grabbing headline no doubt to fuel more anger against Roy who apparently spoke out against a Liverpool legend. readers will probably disregard the reason why Roy is saying that because the anger causes a knee-jerk reaction. ironically, i find myself agreeing with him. i do think Dalglish shouldn't be given the manager's job because he should be higher up the hierarchy to oversee the running of the club.

RAWK going into melt down over comments roy has made! Yet, when you read the whole conversation, roy has said nothing wrong.

Kenny does have a more important role at the club now. A role that was similar to Bobs when KK took over in 86.

A fascination to now get rid of our manager when only 9 games into a season. Losing AWAY to United, citeh, everton is totally unacceptable?

A very hard start for any new manager, never mind a team so low on confidence. A club that was in turmoil off the pitch!

I left the forum to stop myself from this but now again you read a headline from a rag and go off on one? I thought Liverpool fans knew about football, and i kinda think we know that tabloids can change the truth adn make it a lie, its happened to us before hasnt it?

The problem isnt whether or not Roy is right for the club anymore, tis the animals that have shown complete disrespect from day one to a man who took the job when no one else wanted it. A lot of posters need to look at themselves long and hard.

and why the f*ck does it seem more posters have Inter sigs than Liverpool ones... we're LFC not Rafa ltd... get a grip lads, sort it out before absolutely everyone leaves theis forum due to being bullied out by a few mindless f*cking idiots.

btw I posted Roy's whole quotes and read it and still find it incredibly petty and childish to be taking a dig at the previous manager.

And I'm not claiming he took a dig at Kenny, I'm saying it is extremely childish of him to be taking pot shots at Rafa.

Rafa didn't take pot shots at houllier for leaving him a crappy team.

Rafa never took the time criticise Roy when we are in the relegation zone. He just goes on and concentrates on his own business which is what Roy should be doing considering he put us in the relegation zone.

Shouldnt you be with me standing up for Rafa and telling the cretins no here not to reasd the abloids as if they are gospel. Not even reading the tabloids, reading one line, then running off to w@nk over what Rawk says, then coming on here pasting the same sh!t

what he said is what he said it's plain to see and it's unacceptable... he shoul shut his mouth about other people and concentrate on bringing us out of the relegation zone...

Why dont you all join an inter site with your inter sigs and Rafa w@nkfests and leave Liverpool to those of us who actually want Liverpool to do well, who see Kenny, not Rafa, as the hero of our club, and who don't care if you are from Liverpool or Latvia. well when you're receiving flak from fans who are chanting somebody else's name,

and when the media links every other manager on the continent who has either been sacked or hasn't got an appointment to the club,

and when the club is doing poorly both on and field due to the ownership issue not being resolved,

and when there is talk about the new owners wanting to bring in their own manager upon finalizing the sale,

how can you not expect him to be insecure? its similar to the situation Mark Hughes experienced at Man City. there is immense pressure and he can be forgiven for thinking he was managing Newcastle United. he is human too you know.
