Owls are awesome - just saying like if you've ever watched a good nature program you could see how much a*s they kick. Id be proud to be compared to an owl. A rodent on the other hand:

It was a good overall performance, but still lacking cutting edge in the final third and too reliant on crosses rather than passing and movement.

Today we saw a little bit of Maxi's football intelligence with his movements. Thought Lucas was very solid...

Thought it strange Cole was replaced by Ngog as the MF control slipped. A better team would've asked more severe questions. Good win nonetheless..
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

I think we saw Maxi playing better because he had more of the ball further up the pitch than hes done thus far this season, he also had players looking for the ball and making the odd run, which we have really not been doing enough of lately.

I seen Roy last night at Lime Street.

He seems like a really nice, honest bloke.

He shook my hand, I said " keep going ", and he somewhat apologetically replied " we will try ".

My wife then had her two penneth worth, " my life's been a misery cos of you lot!" ,she shouted across the bonnet of his, very nice beamer.

Roy, very quickly replied " If its any use to you, then i can tell you that my life has'nt been great either"

My wife said "no" , and got in the car.

He's a nice bloke, hope the lads don't walk all over him.

This is more like it ,now if we can keep the ill advised Sound bites to the minimum ...then if he keeps it sensible from now on it may just provide the ointment for a few wounds he has inflicted ....

The team today played today just like they did under Rafa.  It was actually kind of scary.  I hope that Roy has finally seen the light and will allow the team to play further up the field.

what happened today then? did roy suddenly see the light? did the players have a word in his ear about how THEY wanted to play? or was it just a fluke. either way i hope he was taking copious notes. at least he seemed to be engaged with the game and enjoying the goals.

Nothing has really changed in the long term. Sure if we go on a winning run for a good half dozen games or 10 games including turning over Bolton, Chelsea and Spurs in the next few weeks playing like today then Roy will deserve some credit. However the jury is still very much out and I'd be surprised if we manage to get more than a point at best next week at Bolton. My opinion hasn't really changed in all honesty. I don't think Hodgson will leave yet but I don't think he'll be our manager beyond early January at the latest.

Yes, the jury is still out, and it would be daft to sack him tomorrow. Lets see how we fair against Bolton, if we manage a win and get a draw against Chelsea it would be good.

it appears you missed the run in of the 08-09 season, or the CL game against Juve, or the Anfield 2nd leg against Barca. Maybe you dont watch too many games.
