Its not a surprise mate, why would he? 4 months into the job why would he resign?

The only way to get rid of Roy is sack him, and that power lies with NESV right now. As LFC2007 said in another thread, I don't think NESV will take rash decisions regarding his sacking, they want to see how it goes in 3 or 4 games, if there is no improvement then they will sack him, simple.

I know more about quantum physics than I do football, but it bugs me that LFC has a manager who tonight said  'I don't think we should be anything other than delighted with the fact we played well'  when his underperforming team wasn't even able to score a goal against a mediocre team that was playing poorly.

Don't we want someone who is disappointed when we don't win such a game? He's 'delighted'?  :oh:

If ever there was a stalemate then this is it! The one thing i have to wonder is - are the players just lazy :censored: who have no spine, passion or hunger for the game and no pride for the shirt they're wearing?

At one stage Hodgson was screaming to Ngog who gave up on a ball that was going out play (slowly, he might have got there and made a chance). At this stage i'm actually torn between whether to sack Hodge or keep him until he gets the players respect!

Anyway BB on Sunday, roll on!

Welcome to Roy's world :D

He was just proud on how young players proved alot of people wrong today, I mean the cr@p I read on the game thread about how Napoli are going to beat us 4-0 or 3-0 because we are playing the reserves.

Well, they were proved wrong. It was an assured display

Unless things stay this bad or get worse I'm not convinced NESV will sack Roy at any stage in the next few months. It would be hard for him to stay if we're in the bottom three at Christmas. I'd guess NESV will take soundings from the likes of Broughton and Purslow over the next few weeks and if there is a mini-revival to say 16th I think Roy will be the boss next season. If we're in the bottom three I doubt that they would able to keep him though.

Like a lot of people posted - Roy is a soft touch. He doesn't command respect.

The players were used of Rafa and his cold approach, now they get this guy who has an attitude thats meant for coaching under-10's..."okay we lost but the important thing is you tried, now who wants PIZZA!!!!!". Even at that none of them are actually making an effort and i can't understand why Hodge is applauding these shocking performances. Is he shouldering the blame? If not then is he blind or just senile ???

Thommo I really do think that from an honourable starting point of wanting to support a struggling manager, you have descended to a bitter place that is reflected in pointless posts made to anyone who critcises Roy.

Nobody in their right mind would want him to carry on after the :censored: performances & tactics, ridiculous comments to press and failure to stand up for our club.

Just get over it pal and let's all get behind the next guy eh.
