If someone came on here for the first time they could be forgiven for thinking this was a United or Everton forum they way some posters are mocking the manager

its unbelievable mate, just disgraceful to be honest. You know, I understand the feelings and sentiments regarding form and manager, but this is just despicable coming from Liverpool fans, especially when we endured last season's abuse towards the former manager.

But you wont get the likes of Igor, Redbeergoogles or Reg posting anything like that. They will just type what they think is wrong and what can improve the situation.

No pictures of owls and stuff like that

Managers need to gain respect IMO...Roy talked and let us down!

So do we just support him cause he is LFC manager?What if they sack him and we get a real dic'k like Curbishley or Zola?

No we don't because they would not be good enough and neither is Roy...the players don't want to play for him...fans know he is in over his head and the owners have no clue about football.
It's only the start of a very long walk....but we cannot do it and move forward with Roy...my goldfish has more fight and personality and it would never smile at a bitter after getting beat!

FWIW I haven't really posted much about the subject because its a bit of a sensitive issue in the forum and think most possible opinions on the matter have been covered, over and over again

However there are times when you realise enough is enough and voice your reasons why in a manner in which Liverpool supporters are acknowledged. Why the manager is losing your respect, why he isn't good enough for the team. In fairness to this forum, a lot of the "Fat Spanish Waiter" tripe you hear about wasn't branded about on here. So for me the arguments "well rafa got the abuse" yes he did, but not from on here.

However, regarding Roy, from day one he was onto a loser. The manner in which Rafa left the club left a nasty taste in a lot of peoples mouths, and whoever took over faced a mountain to scale. Roys first match against Arsenal, you had "fans" chanting for Rafa, so right from the off Roy wasn't given a chance. Whether or not he is right for the club, the attitude shown towards him has been as classless as the chavs at Stamford Bridge.

I find it abhorrent the names Rafa was called and I find the same classless attitude towards Roy the same.

Its a shame.

Posting owl pictures, mocking him, calling him a muppet and telling him 'to do one' is acceptable? What happened to sensible criticism? Like Dundalk said, some posters won't do that stuff, they would point out the flaws, say why he isn't good enough, now that is called being fair!

Tell me Barry, how did you feel when people came up and said rafa was a ''fat spanish waiter'' or a ''muppet''?
