Hodgson needs to go sooner rather than later otherwise we really will be in the :censored: and if this doesn't constitute a crisis then Lord knows what does!!!

Thaats an interesting concept, a mediocre version of Roy Evans!

And to think we could have replaced with with GED last month !

I'm not advocating Roy for the sack, by the way, because I don't think the owners are ready to make that decision as yet...and it will be a costly appointment if they decide to go for one of Europe's top coaches.

Took this from RAWK

Here is some roy quotes.

'Are you from Denmark?' Hodgson asked (he considers the Danish press too negative). 'No, Norway,' replied the visitor. 'Ah, two countries I never want to work in again,' he said.

"When you've got a group of people protesting at the games, it doesn't help."

"Hopefully in the next 36 games we can take some points"

"Hopefully we won't get beat 6-0 today" Pre-match interview away to Man City

"We were unbelievably overstaffed".

" It would have been harsh if we had scored "

" I've been involved in some big derbies in my career and you know how much they mean to the fans. It compares with Inter v Juventus. The Milan derby was a big occasion but the derby d'Italia was the real killer one, as it were. I didn't like losing in those games, which I did quite often. I did poorly so it would be nice to change that"

"I couldn't give a monkey's whether we're 16th or 18th at the moment."

"It is insulting to suggest that because you move to a new club, your methods suddenly don't work when they've held you in good stead for 35 years and made you one of the most respected coaches in Europe"

"that famous victory against Trabzonspor”

Ciggy, we were fuming when we saw that live on tv.

Btw it wasn't just Moyes, he went around the entire Everton staff with that same grin.

Wow, his comments stink of someone who has no idea how he ended up with this job and hes almost apologetic after the fact in his communications with the press. He's not being humble it sounds like he is totally lacking in self belief. Hes only been here for a few months and hes come off with that many pearls of wisdom? I didnt think my confidence levels in him could sink any lower but Jesus I am filled with nothing but trepidation for the rest of the season now if this numpty stays in charge

I missed that photo as I'd turned the tv off but that is feckin disgraceful. How could he muster up a beaming smile after that? Then again, suppose it was the best performance of the season!!!!!

Infamous talksh1te saying we will be relegated unless Roy is sacked. I wouldn't go that far but NESV need to be looking for a replacement imo.

I got this compilation of quotes from YNWA. It shows what has changed with the new manager.

"I have come here to win, and my players have to have the same mentality."

"I am young, I want to win lots of matches and in the right way. I hope the players think like us that it is possible to win titles.

"I want the supporters to be proud of the team, of the manager, of the players, of the club."
Rafael Benitez

"Are people suggesting that we should be doing the same as Arsenal, who have had the same team together for the last six years and Chelsea, who have just won the league?

"If so I would accuse them of being unrealistic at this moment in time.
Roy Hodgson

--------------------------------------------------

"When you see the supporters and how the club works it is like a religion to them. We will try to do our best to bring more trophies back for them."
Rafa Benitez

"This is a new team, there are four or five new players. We finished seventh last season so I don't understand why it's suggested we should be comparing ourselves every day with Chelsea or Manchester United at this early stage of the season.

"It will be nice if we can get there. We will see but I certainly don't make that demand upon the players."
Roy Hodgson

-----------------------

When they start talking and talking about us, it shows they are worried about playing Liverpool,"
Rafa Benitez

"Northampton are a formidable opponent"
Roy Hodgson

-----------------------

"No, I'm not thinking about a draw. We're going out to win."
Rafa Benitez

"It was a good point because we knew it was going to be a tough game. (Referring to a draw against a mid-table Dutch side)
Roy Hodgson

-------------------------
Never call me the special one!"
Rafa Benitez

"To suggest that, because I have moved from one club to another, that the methods which have stood me in good stead for 35 years and made me one of the most respected coaches in Europe don't suddenly work is very hard to believe.
Roy Hodgson

---------------------
"To work hard and have our supporters behind us and believing until the end, you run a little bit more."
Rafa Benitez

"The protest does not help but it is something I have had to live with since I came to the club,"
Roy Hodgson

--------------------

"I have a lot of confidence in the team, maybe Milan are favourites -- they have a lot of good players -- but we have confidence and we can win." (Referring to one of the best teams in the world at the time)
Rafa Benitez

To get a result here would have been Utopia (Referring to Everton)
Roy Hodgson

----------------------

I picked the team which I felt was right for the game and I have no regrets about that. In the first half Burnley were better than us but in the second half we were better. The bad thing is we conceded a poor goal and it was then always going to be difficult for us to score on a bad pitch against a team that was fighting for everything.
Rafa Benitez - refuses to blame youngsters after Burnley loss

"These players have to accept responsibility. I accept responsibility for changing a lot of players in the team, I did it because I honestly thought the players I put on the field were good enough to win the game and they weren't.
Roy Hodgson - lays into youngsters after Northampton loss

the people going on about the photo are fools.

what is your claim? that he was happy with a derby defeat? it is more of a grimace.

I doubt many of you watch the news but there was a still photo of obama looking at a womans :censored: and it looked terrible, luckily there was a camera there that showed what actually happened and it was totally different, he was helping somebody up a step. still pictures are misleading.

Hodgeson might be the wrong man but stop looking for spasticated reasons to get rid of him, what next? if he is pictured with a blue tie he is an everton supporter?

grow the fukk up morons

Jesus you have one hell of a chip on your shoulder fella, and considering this thread is 200 pages of you shooting your mouth of about the last coach I think you should try to be a little more objective and a little less hypocritical

Have watched it on replays and there is nothing misleading about it - we have just lost to our most bitter rivals for the first time in 4 years and he was smiling like a Cheshire cat as he shook the manager of our bitter rivals . Nothing misleading about it . He should be fuming not smiling and then he tops it off by saying we were unlucky ?!
