mate i am not backing Roy, i am saying the problem is bigger that just roy and some eem to think it can be fixed over night....and them are living in a dream world.

this is going to take a long time to fix and might take a few manager to come and go before its fixed, but be clear, its not down to the manager that they have no team to pick from, its the way the club has fallen apart over the last few years.
yes from letting rafa have all the power at the club and what he did with thye youth set up is part of it and yes having :censored: owners was a very big part of it.

things will change but not just yet, needs time.

'I think it would be a sad day for football and a very sad day for Liverpool Football club if, after eight games, someone the pomp and circumstance that greeted my arrival was sacked,' said Hodgson.
'Liverpool spent a lot of money paying compensation to Fulham to bring me here. I was feted as one of the best managers around. If eight games into the season people start saying that I'm no good at all and I have to go, that would be a sad day for me and for the club.

'That kind of thing isn't Liverpool's style. Liverpool down the years have always been the opposite of that. This was the club that gave Bill Shankly 15 years to build the club and then spent the next 10 years trying to ensure that the people who worked under Shankly carried his work on. I find speculation about my future insulting to both me and the club.'

Simply reaffirms my view that the mans arrogance is outstanding
I sat through one of the most uncomfortable games of football I have ever had to endure for a long long time
The mans an absolute joke I would find him mildly amusing ( albeit not as hysterical as the bitters deem him ) if I didn't feel like crying in frustration  ...I simply fail to recognize this team as a Liverpool team ....never have I seen a worse bunch of cowards perform in the Red shirt under the guise of a supposed Premiership team ,and now they have a manager who represents totally the lack of fight or for that matter heart ....... anyone defending this man is either a complete dolt ..... or has come of his motorbike on more than one occasion and suffered the odd head injury ..... because you simply cannot defend the indefensible .... I think Lord Grabiner himself would even struggle fighting the current incumbents case .....Time to go Roy

Clear enough ?

The muppet hasn't a clue. If he had any dignity, he would walk.
If I were the new owner, I would have observed a clueless man, drumming his fingers against his lips, without a clue what to do. For me that's a no-brainer - get rid of him. Do what he did to the Red Sox. New manager in ASAP.

Word ROY OUT !!!!

is it true Ciggy?

Complete and total bollox. Lakes, zip it FFS. You're making a c*nt out of yourself.

ER, i think he did that a long time ago...

Unfortunately, deliberate WUM's such as he is go unchecked on this forum. God forbid one might ask the mods to do something about it......

look they are my own views based on what has happen to the club over the years, you lot seem to think that put KD in place as the manager and its sorted, well i hope they do and then you will see its not just down to a manager that this club is messed up.

sorry but i can not see why what i am posting is so wrong, just that i am not posting ROY out you are unhappy with me, well i dont casr if he stays or sack the problem is bigger than just the manger.

Sorry lakes pal but, football never had and never will be about individuals. It I'd about team spirit. Roy has no togetherness we are no way the 19th worst group of players after 8 games but we are the 19th worst team. A team is lead by its leader and ours is not up to the job.

Mate, do as I plan to. Find a way to put that muppet lakes on Ignore.
A more clueless, daft, pillock you'd be hard pushed to find.....Unless you look Roy Hodgson straight in the face, that is....

Afternoon all :) .

I don't know about "defending" Roy, but I still think it would be a mistake to call time on him after eight matches. There were parts of todays game which I thought were an improvement on the Blackpool performance, not enough but an improvement, but whichever way you look at it sacking him now isn't the right move for me.

The ONLY reason why I can see sense in getting rid, and I've said this before, is that the fans have dug themselves into such a deep hole of dislike over him I cannot see him winning them over no matter what he does. I absolutely 100% believe that until the fans and the club are united (which means they must be behind the manager) we will not achieve our potential. It's looking impossible for Roy to achieve this as far as I can see it.

Worst start for 60 years 1954, when we got relagated.

Nothing at all on the pitch to do with the takeover. Players are paid very well to put things right, and even Rushie said they should just get on with it.

I would not want to see Roy Hodgson given major cash to spend in any transfer window. He will probably bring back DANNY MURPHY and some other average tosh.

I don't think Roy has got the dressing room, Torres just don't look right. I think even they think he is a joke.

I didn't go to the pub to watch the match as I watched the Man Utd one and it was so poor. today no different. No chances created and in most games is the most obvious thing.

Konchesky V Man utd looked well out of his depth, he was so poor in the tackle, positioning and on the ball, I was cringing.

Just confirms that I thought the job was too big for him when he was offered it to him. Please dont give him transfer cash

Other managers can get the boot in all leagues after so many games, but for LFC it is embarrassing.

Bring back...KING KENNY !

If Roy said that, what on earth will the new owner think about that? Good grief.
