ROY HODGSON - Official Thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Is it me or does Roy just talk way too much?... seriously... it would be the best interest for us AND for him if he shuts up for awhile and concentrate on bringing us out of the relegation zone. If it isn't complaining about the sit in protests, or how things should be more calm and quiet for his start of the season, it's how he has 35 years of experience and how he is considered the best manager around, or how replacing him would be illogical. OMFG Roy, stop it already. Fans have been fighting tooth and nail to save the club and you should be fully aware of the situation the club is in when you accepted the appointment. I usually don't get onto a manager's back for non-football reasons, but he is getting mighty annoying for me. He's just shooting off his mouth like a ranting grandpa... It was refreshing in the beginning how he talks about things in a seemingly logical way... but now it has come to some kind of self-pitying rationalization non-sense...

He's just senile, afraid of becoming a pensioner.

He's now playing on the traditions of the club in a self-serving statement that he should keep his job simply because of those traditions.

Well, that's the last straw for me.Get to f*ck, Roy! I now want you sacked ASAP!

Yeah I though that was kind of an odd statement too. "Dont sack me because its not the Liverpool way." Well Roy neither is losing at home to a team 80 odd places below us in the league! Just "get back to training and focusing on your team" ffs!

I can't see Roy going at the moment unless things get drastically worse. Who would be available now any better than Roy to come in that wasn't available at the start of July? That said if today is worse than a 1-0 defeat for us (I don't think we'll lose) I think the writing will be on the wall for him. Put it this way if we're in the bottom three in two months from now he'll be gone.

Grow a pair Dawson your sounding like a broken record now.

You go on about 'The Liverpool Way' so in your eyes the Liverpool Way is to back anyone regardless of their ineptattude.

Is the Liverpool Way the Losing Way all of a sudden
Shankly on boardroom meetings - 'At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.'
