Roy can consider himself very lucky... Now he will have some money to 'build' the squad rather than sell to buy... It seems that a striker and an out and out winger is a priority in the Jan window...

Oh I'm sure he does mate every time he reads a forum or listens to a phone in. I'll bet he can't believe his luck .

Equally, as far as the squad is concerned he probably feels lucky as well. He has inherited one which hasn't got a top class centre half, hasn't got a "winger" of any description whatsoever, and only has one credible striker when he really needs four. Lucky ba.stard   :D .

One thing we all have to agree on about Roy, the way hes been treated by some of the fans on here and at the ground has been nothing short of disgraceful. He deserves til Xmas with some stability to turn this mess around, and everyone needs to be behind him 110%

  from another forum

Has the Manager made any formal comment on todays news ?
[/quote

He's too busy making his case for his own court appearance next week.

He's being charged with impersonating a football manager.

A suspended sentence is more likely !
