I have my reservations but if it all does go wrong then i would not want Rafa back in a million years.

That's where i get confused by the continued backing of our previously failed manager.

Listen Ben  you have been on this forum for as long as I have possibly longer, and that's why I have credited you with a decent reply.......   we both know patience is a virtue especially when it comes to managers  ...but I just don't get how some  can keep on defending the truly indefensible mate ....... The Reds are seriously struggling  and I feel as headstrong in my view of the present manager lacking the personality needed to drag us back up the table ...as I did when it started going drastically down hill with Houllier mate listen  it matters not a jot about the time allotted  especially given Roys mandate  ....but it does matter  when you cant shake the feeling of total desperation, because the club you love is being very poorly run ,it matters when you feel totally detached from the manager because he lacks any affinity with the fans ....it hurts when you sense the lack of belief in the Kop on match days ....I don't hate the manager
Ben I just feel even at this early stage he is severely lacking the characteristics to take us up the table .....
Whilst its commendable to support the manager  surely you would have to offer some shred of an argument to refute the claims by so many that he is simply in over his head  ...... the truth hurts and I take no pleasure in stating as such

I can admit that SO FAR he appears to be.
But i have never seen anyone given as little amount of time as Roy has been given.

What is the most annoying to me is the esteem the former manager is held in.
Last season was terrible, we didnt have a clue and the signings Rafa made over the last 18 months were terrible with major money wasted.

I can understand people's concerns over Roy but at the end of the day he is the manager for the time being and there is no way the fella has been given a fair crack of the whip.

I like ciggy, think she is a sound girl but she has been terrible lately.

Just as an add on to me post.

I have heard some say on here that they are entitled to behave like they have been behaving because they know that appointing Roy was a mistake.
That means abusing the manager is ok ?

If that's the case then does that mean the fans that thought Rafa last season being at the club was detrimental to the club moving forward were ok to call him for all sorts and demand he gets moved on ?

Or is it one rule for some and another for others ?
