Funny... alot of people on here didn't think like that when we let the previous manager go... and alot of people were happy that we paid millions of pounds to let Rafa Benitez join Inter when we were skint and hired Roy Hodgson... It's like paying money to downgrade your car...  :D

Didn't some of us say back then that it was a mistake? now it's looking like one...

it was a mistake getting roy but it was an even bigger mistake for keeping rafa for so long so dont go down that road.

I didnt miss it theres no point in posting article with the players giving another rallying cry when thats all they have done the past two seasons then dont follow it up on the pitch.

The reason Roy is here is because of our scouse duo wanting an english manager hope they are happy with the choice.

:D lol if i hear another rallying cry.. I'm gonna shoot who ever makes it  !

Talk about looking all over the houses and sounding desperado with it... getting sadder by the week..  :no

Roys done his homework on Blackpool

They will take their chance coming to Anfield, which will be a great moment for them, and we have to work hard to make sure we don't give them any chances or give them any encouragement.

"Once or twice against Utrecht one or two of the situations which caused us problems came from Utrecht clearances, people under pressure smashing the ball forward and their forwards chasing it and suddenly finding themselves winning a corner or a dangerous free-kick.

"There will be plenty of that against Blackpool; we must be prepared for it and make certain we have the positional play right and the composure so we don't give them goal chances which they have not worked hard to create.

"I do know from the excerpts I have seen on television that they have tenacity and energy.

"Those are two excellent qualities and any team which can show high energy, keep up their enthusiasm, and shows tenacity and determination have got half a chance whatever happens."

Rafa didn't really believe he could turn it round unless he had at least £50-£80 million to spend and that was never going to happen. If Rafa had stayed in charge I don't think things would be that much better now maybe top 6 top 8 but no higher.

People like yourself moaned about getting him out and getting someone else in. While people like myself argued against it by asking the simple question which could never be answered: who could we bring in that would be better? He's gone now, and we got lumped with Roy. Tough titty, fella. I reckon you'd take Benitez back in a heartbeat if asked. I believe that him being here for as long as he was just delayed what we are now experiencing. He was the stabilizing factor at this club.

As bad as things where under rafa we where never in the fucking state we are in now.

In the relegation zone with a minus 3 goal difference, its fucking shocking anyone who says any difference is a liar.

Really? I thought last season we played the worst football wed played in YEARS, a new manager and new players deserve a chance. I thought we were better than other teams just wanting money and a new manager after less than three months?

I thought we had decent fans tho, oh well, death of LFC i guess  :(
