What Terry & Lampard had at Chelsea the same thing happened at Liverpool and even though I idolise Gerrard they do have a say in what goes on at the club.

And the Gerrard, Torres divorce tells a story of its own...............................

Anyway.

Me mum was saying earlier that all the letters in the Echo tonight wanted Roy & Sammy out.

Come on Lynds you're simply speculating about that sort of stuff. There's not a bigger city of rumours in the land than Liverpool? Just coz someone hears something down the pub and then tells it to someone else who then tells the world doesn't make it true.

Arsenal in for Pepe for 13Mil or some silly figure.... was on some bollo.cks rumor site but no doubt it will make it round to all the other garbage sites before the rags. There is probably nothing in it, didn't see any quotes but tbh whilst the ownership situation is up in the air these stories will keep popping up.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

And with the club in the present financial predicament and uncertainy I can see no advantage to losing our manager and the team trainer.......

What does that matter?
They will get their way, say they were right and all our problems will be solved.

I didnt miss it theres no point in posting article with the players giving another rallying cry when thats all they have done the past two seasons then dont follow it up on the pitch.

The reason Roy is here is because of our scouse duo wanting an english manager hope they are happy with the choice.

100% agree,

The truth is actually nothing to do with Arl p!ssy kecks rather Carragher being offered a 1 year contract from Rafa, remember last season he threw a wobbler and said he will leave and even go to Bolton.

totally agree mate, with the things as they are off the pitch at this moment in time- lets not be in a situation where we make it even more difficult to have any light at the end of the tunnel.

but what i would say that really concerned me on last nights performance, was that when i saw the shot of sammy on a walky talky to who-ever, when roy was sat next to him i fecking cringed, i mean wtf was that all about! there is a major problem with communication alround if the two of them act like that!

for me though i will keep the faith, but i really, really, want to see either or both stand up an be counted, cause i agree the players need a kick up the backside an that basics like communication on the field needs to improve, for us to get the big win we so need, but we are in this together, give roy at least the time & chance to work out with the players his best starting 11.

why should he be given time? he should know his best 11 an starting formation- sorry i think that there is a time he should be given, like we have given every manager before him the same grace an opportunity. time may not be on his side as many think, but at least give him the chance cause who the feck would be available or acceptaple as our manager at this moment in time!

there's lots of so called good, great nanagers out there let alone trainers, coaches etc who would step foward -no-one thats who. cause with our situation it would only make things a whole lot worse, i do agree with some views that the buck stops with the manager an his back up staff, however i still maintain the players really need to sort out their attitude & commitment, that is basic foundations to helping improve everything else that the manager then can control, like tactics etc. we have players who have been with LFC long enough now to show this & ensure it spreads throughout the team.

like shanks once said- these players should be honoured & privaliged to play for you! (the fans, the people) if that isn't enough communication of basics to the players of today, then no amount of tactics, formation etc will work for whoever is in charge! one thing i have liked about roy is that on his first interview on LFC TV he quoted an knew things from our history- easy words or he's doing his pr thing, so what- for me he said it an i was impressed with his whole interview.

opinions vary on him so be it, for me i will give him the time & chance he deserves, cause i think it would be an insult to the man an would do the club no favours what so-ever for the future.

To me we are playing virtually the same tactics as what we did under the old manager.

this is it for me. exactly.

nothing has improved from last season, it's just stayed exactly the same.

- good purchases along with dodgy purchases.

- playing players out of position

- persisting with the 2 defensive midfielders axis

- not buying a striker

- negative tactics

- late substitutions

- inaccurate / silly comments after the game

- boring football (for the record I know that rafa didn't always play boring football, but wolves/stoke/portsmouth etc last season were dire performances - and we're playing exactly the same football as we did then)

its like the english version of Rafa Benitez, nothing has changed at all.

I am in the camp that thought it was the right time to change the manager, but I am not liking this particular change at the moment.

everything he said.

at least rafa used to make substitutions (albeit only after 63 minutes) ...it's even more frustrating with roy when we're playing terrible, it's obvious we're not posing any kind of goal threat and he just sits there watching after 80 minutes of dire football.
we've only won it 5 times

Hodgson is probably out of his depth at Anfield because partly of lowered expectations but also because of who he's managed previously in his career. That said I'm not sure whether anyone else would do that much better at the moment. It seems to me that these players are being held back because the club don't think they're good enough any more to play attacking football, which was half the trouble with Rafa.

I don't think Broughton would make another change at the moment not until the end of the season anyway . If things stayed this bad till May I doubt he'd survive but I think Broughton would be happy with 10th come May.

If he does go by next summer for me it would have to be O'Neill next if they can't get Rijkaard, Hiddink or Deschamps.

I wondered if the players are simply not motivated, dressing room problem, disliking Roy and his tactics or just simply don't give a Fu.ck. I suppose it is all of the above to some degree. Really an under achieving squad TBH. No one dispute the fact that Roy is a gentleman and all. But the players need a kick in their arsses. I'm just afraid if Roy continue to play the obvious, performances aside, our young players might be affected since they might idolises someone like Gerrard, Torres etc. This would have a prolonged long time effect on the club. I'm just asking Roy to play the ones that performed the best and by being fair, I don't think any players can complain and will certain increase their willingness to play for a spot and would also have the backing of the fans in general. I dislike Roy because of his tactics and selection. But if he is willing to be more creative and plays some youngers, I think most of us fans will not be calling for his head so quickly. Bad result aside, at least having play some youngers will at least benefit the club down the road. So, time is not wasted and who knows and it might create the sparks that needed.

And now the Pepe talk is starting up again.

No one is going to convince Torres to stay in the current situation, but at least we'd have a manager who knows something about playing proper football.

Funny... alot of people on here didn't think like that when we let the previous manager go... and alot of people were happy that we paid millions of pounds to let Rafa Benitez join Inter when we were skint and hired Roy Hodgson... It's like paying money to downgrade your car...  :D

Didn't some of us say back then that it was a mistake? now it's looking like one...
