Roy won once away from home 1-0 against Portsmouth finished 12th lowest scorers in the league......point being he shouldnt be anywhere near the Liverpool job.

the season didn't even end yet, lets wait and see what happens.

There isnt any excuse for not bringing in another striker. He had money and brought in plenty of players but waited until the last minute to try and get a striker in.
Even the people that defend Roy the most must admit the Poulsen money is looking like it could have been spent on a striker.

i never constantly state the same thing. But i think we should bring back aquilani and we need 2 fecking strikers  :p

What use would Aquilani be he can't tackle, so he'd be stuck out wide.

Ben he's started one game against Cagliari last weekend and he was utter tosh.

We put 4 past Stoke and Burnley and six past Hull, and after 7 games had scored 22 goals with 15points from 21.

We know you think so Ciggy, and it might be heartwrenching but now he is our manager and he will be so for at least this season.

We have no other choice but to try and support the manager and the team.

Try to discuss what is bad about Roy as a manager and explain your reasons instead of just says he is ****, end of  :)

It doesnt matter that we scored however many goals earlier in the season last season.
Its the way the form dropped and how the whole season panned out that was the problem.

Agree on the strikers.

Not on Aquilani.

Has he even played for Juve yet ?

A one legged partially blind aquilani would create more than lucas poulsen maxi and babbel put together.

aquilani got 2 goals and 7 assists in just 13 games not bad seeming that he was only half fit. But maybe ur right poulsen and lucas are much better options.

yes but that all relative to the opposition. we all know we've had the hardest start of any team for a long time. comparisons to last season exist becasue nothings changed since last season in terms of how we're playing, the formation, tactics, substitutions etc

That's not the issue though.
We all agree that Lucas and Poulsen shouldnt be in the same team.

Meireles and one of them is ok for me.
From the little i have seen of the portuguese so far he is much better suited to the premiership and will be a far better player for us. (IF Roy plays him in the correct position)

As soon as someone shout get rid of Roy, we got slated even though realistically we are playing so bad that there is no ends to it. I would really like to see some positives from the games but i just couldn't find any. When is the right time to get rid of Roy while we will not get slated? By blindly supporting Roy just doesn't help. I mean we are playing so bad without any improvement that it doesn't make any difference if we have a manager or not. If we just throw the best 11 players on the pitch, the result might be better than now. If we wait any longer, Roy will only get us playing more defensively. How does that help us win more games? The fact that we have more offensive players than defensive players is not suitable for a defensive system. Roy continue to stick them into a defensive system just doesn;t work. It is like putting Mascherano in a forward position. Same logic implies here. If he his tactics are more offensive and we lose, then I understand. But he simply just doesn't get it and has no clues whatsoever. We are just as deseparate to see the club to improve. Anyone wanna bet on how many points we will have by Xmas if we are sticking with Roy? We just care about the club same as any other Liverpool fans. We just see the solution differently.

What does it matter how we did at the start of last season?

We finished just above Birmingham! chased Alonso out the door and blew £38m on an injury prone midfielder and a full back that cannot defend.

Roy has to clean up another persons Fukk up.

Go on Roy :buttrock

For those wishing Aquilani to come back, please let it go.  He's never gotten over a big injury at Roma and is not the same footballer he was then.  He did OK for us but never shined and at times, looked completely lost.  He's barley getting a sniff at a mediocre Juventus; he will not solve our problems.  We always say "if only we had player 'x' back he would get us straighten out."  Well player 'x' isn't Aquilani, never has, never will.

It's not really a question of who's "fault" it is, because clearly as Roy is the manager he is entitled to be questioned by disgruntled fans. He may think that lifes a bit unfair that when a team made up entirely of Rafa's signings gets beat by Northampton two months after he took over he gets slaughtered for it, but that's life I'm afraid.

Fortunately for Roy, I think most people who are willing to look at the situation sensibly are prepared to give him more than six league matches before they write him off.

i find it unbelievable how much abuse he got when for the life of me and all my mates are gutted hes gone. I mean he use to fizz that ball about do some nice one twos with stevie. And he always seemed to up the tempo whenever he came on a sub. And all u moaned about was his tackling. Well am sorry but your all wrong. Losing mash and aqua at the same time and replacing them with poulsen and meireles is defenitely a step down. I bet by the end of the season he will be juves best player. Im always right in the end and ulot can mock me all u like just like the strikes situation im proved right.
