Yes we should get shut if we dont get 6 points from our next two games, I am also worried about the damage he will do in the January transfer window should he stay.
He will buy players who will fit in with his yard dog tactics.

The lets get some perspective for fu'cks sake!
We are five points off fourth and top of the group in the europa cup.
We havent been playing well but it is not the end of the world yet. Of course we can slip further down, but we can also move further up with a couple of wins. Its so Fu*king ridiculous to be screaming blue murder after six, yes, six games. I understand people being nervous and wanting a change before its too late.
But steady nerves are needed. Not knee jerk hysterics.

So if we beat Blackpool and then draw away to the bitters you would sack the manager?

But and heres the horrible BUT, if the next six games are the same then what next?

I think at least till January to be honest but another six games the same and the ice will be definitely cracking

No point sacking him now. We will be back to square 1 with no decent manager wanting to come in, then again if we knew the takeover was deffo happening Kenny could be caretaker manager and then go back to his ambassador role after.

No Ill take 4 points will we get them? Lets friggen hope so the derby is going to be one tasty game, with them bottom of the league imagine the anger from their fans in this one.
Lets hope our redmen turn up because Goodison Park is no place for cowards like the ones we are seeing right now.

Scottbot wrote:Tonights result in the context of the competition is absolutely fine. Win your home games and get your draws away in Europe and you'll do just fine so i think it's important people remember that. You don't consistently go away to European teams and dump on them in their own ground so it is unreasonable to expect the walkover some were naively calling for.

Yeah, I'm not particularly disappointed with tonight's result as it leaves us top of the group and we have much bigger fish to fry anyway (Blackpool  :D ). We'll qualify from our group but the test was and always will be whether we can push on in the league and make a fist of fourth. Tonight's result had no bearing on that at all but if the hysteria in this thread and the match thread were to be believed you would truly think we'd just been beaten by Blackpool. We haven't, and we're still 5 points from fourth with a very winnable game at the weekend. If results go as expected, we would be two pts behind Arsenal going into the derby. We really do have to beat Blackpool.

Whats wrong with people these days

Hypocrites. And you can see it fanning the flames of future disputes. Both "sides" as it were have been guilty of it: Those who say Roy deserves respect have said words to the effect, "it's a matter of dignity, not results" - but they didn't show the same respect toward Rafa (questioned his mental health, called him a sheister, among other things); but those who are being ultra-tough on Roy and who were ultra-soft on Rafa are the worst culprits, in my view.

We sat through a whole season of sh!t last year; we saw a £20m signing sat on the bench while Lucas and Masch cost us midfield control - and by extension, lots of points - in umpteen fixtures. By comparison to what has been said after just six games of Roy's reign, hardly a word was said against the previous manager about the sustained damage his decision to stick with that pairing had on our season. We drew away to Reading and anger was directed at Gerrard (remember that?) and the other players who needed to "pull their fecking socks up". Hardly a word about the manager by comparison. Often it was, "Oh and Rafa isn't getting away with it either in case you think he is" bolted on at the end, just to appease his critics. Roy, six games in, is the MAIN focus of attention. It's not Lucas, it's not the players, it's not the owners and their lack of team-funding relative to our competitors; it's Roy and his tactics.

In a nutshell.

Whenever Rafa did something right regarding subs or tactics, I was one of the first to praise him. A match against Arsenal, I cant remember if we lost or drew, but the critics were out and I couldnt fault rafa. He picked a good team, he made positive subs and went for a result.

However, there is absolutely no leeway given to Roy whatsoever. Its all his fault. And to put it simply, its pathetic. Best supporters in the world? Most knowledgeable? Do me a favour.

We have to look at the big picture, regardless of well or badly he does, he must stay til we get new owners and give them time to put a strategy together. Realistically he must stay til the end of the season.
